It's here... A big black nasty looking foreign to me spider just reminded me that with good weather... comes the creepy crawlies. Yuck
How do you guys feel about those 8 legged beasts?

I'm okay with them if they're not 1) visibly poisonous or 2) coming towards me.

There's a graph of the US in terms of brown recluse population, and guess what state is in the exact center of it.

I saw a spider standing right in front of an exit at school, I'm sure the poor thing is squashed by now.

I used to love the little buggers when I was a kid.
Then a biiiig black and yellow one was in my garden. I thought he was so cool so I'd throw bug into his web and stuff for him. My parents were concerned because never in all their lives had they seen a spider that looked like that! So, they looked him up on the internet and found out that he wasn't native to the area naturally, and he was very poisonous. It was since then I sort of lost my trust for them. Now I'm worried they're all going to be poisonous. :( That's why I hate spiders now.

I have no problem at all with spiders. Although where I live there are no dangerous ones so it's all good.

Pretty severe arachnophobia here. Not too bad if there small and I have something to squish them with, but when they're big enough that their legs are anything other than a tiny black line, I start to get worried.

I dislike spiders. I once had a highly poisonous one on my back and ever since I've been deathly afraid of them.

If I know they aren't poisonous, I'm all good though.

It's hilarious that I'm the only one out of nearly twenty people who voted to love spiders.
Until a spider put me in the hospital, I have no reason to dislike them. There's actually a reason why I find spiders less threatening than waffles.

I don't know how this arachnophobia developed, but every time I see a spider I get all fight-or-flighty. A few weeks ago I was driving on the freeway when one spun down it's web right in front of my face and I almost crashed. Then after it was gone I almost vomited, 'cause that reaction invariably hits me shortly after the panic.

It's really fucking annoying. My rational mind likes spiders.

I've yet to meet the INSECT who was an alien freak :nonono: Spiders on the other hand... well let's just say "Earth First" and "No Invaders" and leave it at that.

Oh Face, being great and whatnot. Shay I was going to post a picture of a camel spider bite, but I decided not to... I guess anyone brave enough to look that up on Google images can! Just be happy your hand is not decomposing while you're still alive. :bigsmile:

Okay so if I see a camel spider I will run very far away or kill it with fire.

They aren't true spiders though :o
