iTunes trouble!

So, I was in the middle of downloading some songs from the iTunes store, and then all of a sudden iTunes decided to freeze up on me. I reopened iTunes and check for my downloads, but they weren't there and iTunes said that all my purchases were downloaded. Well, that's wrong. My two songs aren't there. This happened once before, and frankly, I'm tired of sending "please help me!" e-mails to iTunes. Can anyone help me, or can tell me why my iTunes is disfucntional?

Sometimes it will randomly decide that it hates some of my songs. Neither iTunes nor my iPod will play those files. I don't get an error message of any kind. If I delete them from my library, iTunes will not re-add them. Re-encoding them fixes the problem, but then there's the problem of sifting through hundreds of files to see which ones work and which ones don't. Other media players will handle the files with zero problems.

...but I still use it anyway because it's the easiest to use when putting songs on my iPod :mad2:
