I do not like any Anime opening, they are all really stupid. Esp. the ones that are for SERIOUSSSSS anime like Death Note xD makes me crack up every time I see it.

I don't really like many TV openings either. They're just meant to get you in the mood to watch the programme, that's what they do. Some can be cool, but if they make you like the show enough you stop thinking about them after a few episodes, they're no longer special.

But when it comes to anime then I'm going to have to go with Gunbuster (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0sqy3rr9bpc) as my favorite, and the original opening to Oh! My Goddess (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NBTZiQkX9MM) makes me very happy.

Off the top of my head songs that particularly stood out were Boston Legal, Friends, Charmed and Stargate-SG1(despite a rather dull title sequence) as well as alot of anime openings. As for all the other openings credit songs I liked there are way too many to list. Usually shows require a good strong title sequence to get my attention.
