I was just watching some G.I. Joe trailers and was thinking that they had better include a PSA at the end of the movie in the credits. It was corny as hell in the cartoons and a series of them playing out in the credits would be awesome.

hopefully they will, since it's gonna be a trillogy they can work it in as a gimmick, maybe after the credits finish rolling...

It's going to be a trilogy? Looking at the outfits, they might as well name them GI Joe, GI Joe Warhead, and GI Joe Wars. It's Crysis the movie.

I have mixed feelings about this movie, I'm still going to see it. I just don't know if I'll enjoy whatever story they throw together. I thought the scene with the halo-suits jumping down the street looked dumb, It was a rip off of the scene from transformers. I hope it does well.

I'm confused, shouldn't a movie called G.I Joe have someone named Joe in it? Isn't the whole movie supposed to revolve around them? Looks like they snagged the name just to secure some money from the brand alone. Or thats just what I assume, maybe G.I Joe never had anyone called Joe to begin with. That would be pretty stupid though.

The movie itself looks like special effects for the sake of special effects. Count me out.

Technically they're all "joe's". The "G.I" stands for "General Infantry" and "joe" is just a word used to describe a bunch of people who share similar traits.

That's all kinds of wrong. G.I. is General Issue. Joe is slang for a soldier in the US Army. G.I. Joe is a super top secret elite special forces unit in the comics and cartoons.

I don't know how someone wins a thread but okay. I guess you're trying to be funny as well.

I saw a trailer for G.I. Joe when I went to see Star Trek last weekend. I had absolutely no idea what the hell I was watching intently and thinking 'oh :bou::bou::bou::bou: this is awesome'
