...or maybe not. (http://www.destructoid.com/savedukenukem-com-registered-the-day-before-3d-realms-closed-131811.phtml) Well in either case, I really wish they wouldn't but it has left opportunities to showcase the work that has gone into Duke Nukem Forever.

I must say it does not disappoint me - I would love to play this game. Not to mention the animation and motion mixing is just incredible.

You can see a video of some of the work put into this here. (http://www.joystiq.com/2009/05/10/duke-nukem-forever-gameplay-surfaces-requests-we-come-get-some/)

Oh btw there is a bit of nudity in the video preview, but it asks for your age so don't blame me.

The footage they released doesn't look bad but it doesn't really stand out from the crowd either. They would have had to of done something really special to get me to of bought the game.

Hope it still gets released in some form though.

Yay for gamer's high expectations and unrealisations about how awesome that footage was.

Yeah, the footage kicked ass for real. I'm hoping the conspiracy is true. Really, it would be some ace viral marketing to hype it up before launch. Then again, it wouldn't be surprising if they really did just run out of money. Who knows.

Duke Nukem Forever: Take-Two sues 3D Realms over non-delivery - mirror.co.uk (http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/technology/2009/05/15/duke-nukem-forever-take-two-sues-3d-realms-over-non-delivery-115875-21362063/)

Amidst this awesome gameplay + other footage, Take Two is actually suing the closed down studio for not getting their act together on this...

Some people are still hoping that the developers looking for work after the closing down happened, could possibly sign on to Take Two and finish the game...
