We used to have one, and then, we became WAAAY too cool.

Further, I think we should harken back to the days when there were an EoFF FFXI Linkshell, so that we can really help eachother out.

Yet further, I think in the server list, we should make a list, by server, of all eoffer's and their characters.

Well, I run a social/event linkshell on Midgardsormr with Ouch. Just PM either him or me.

I think Bleys has an alt. on Pandemonium as well, but I'm not sure how much he plays on it.

Stop ruining my funny, Ouch. :mad2:

I always figured Bleys stopped going on Pandemonium, didn't seem him that much when we were there.

Haven't seen Bleys in a long time. There were a couple other random members on Pandy but I haven't seen them in a while either.

Or you should just change servers to Midgardsormr!

He should make an alt at pandemoium and transfer his main!

We should totally be more organized with FFXIV from the very beginning, get everyone to start on the same server and get us a linkshell or linkshell equivalent.

Yes! Part of the problem with FFXI was that you couldn't even choose your own server. They've changed that now so hopefully from the start we can choose a specific server for FFXIV. And then we'll have fun times!

What I think they should do is, from the start, allow people to 'trade' servers with each other after being allocated one. That way the populations will be stable but friends can hang out with each other without much trouble. Some servers might end up 'in demand' on some level but hopefully over time it wouldn't be so much of a struggle, and they could at a cheap cost allow for people to transfer without a 'trade'.

No idea if it would be workable, though.

I imagine in FFXIV there will be some easy way to play with friends, though, otherwise it would be a bit stupid overall as all the FFXI LinkShells would get screwed over.

I hope they allow you to just select your server in FFXIV like they do with every other MMO out there.

At first, FFXI had word passes you could buy in-game and give the invitation code to your friend to get on your server.

Do they do that from the onset on every other MMO? If so, do they simply cap the amount of people who can join that server or something? If so for that as well, then are there still options for some to transfer to other servers to 'free up space' on the server for more friends to join later on? *curious*

Hmm. I am unsure about other MMO's and how they deal with it.

However, for FFXI they've had quite a few server mitigations where you can volunteer to change servers (usually you get your friends to come with you).
