Rad Racer clearly is the game that gave Lucas, from the epic movie "The Wizard", all of his mad gaming skillz. He wielded the awesome power of the Power Glove like he was a GOD and when playing the game...you just knew that he was bound for greatness.

I unfortunatly never got a chance to play rad racer and I can only wonder how much better I would be today if I played it when I was a kid. I swear that all gamers in every tournament ever have a history with this game.

This game just makes people better at gaming and we don't know why. Just as Mozart's music makes people smarter, this will remain a mystery.

In the movie "The Wizard" the little kid just walks out after watching Lucas become more than a mere mortal because he had already aquired the power that Rad Racer gives. This is why he was a match for Lucas in the finally of the movie. Had he not already aquired the power then Lucas would have more than dominated the that tournament. There would just be no stopping him.

Did Rad Racer give you divine gaming powers when you were growing up like it has bestowed upon so many others?

YES! What about my YouTube video in the other thread? Well, it turns out that you have to be playing a physical copy of the game for its power to work. A ROM won't do. I have played it, and it has made me into the noble and brilliant man I am today.

I believe my experience playing rad racer as a kid helped to turn me into the video game master I am today.

I certainly feel that I'm not half the gamer I should be right now simply because I was never blessed with Rad Racer when I was younger. Ridge Racer, yes, but no Rad Racer. Who wants to be a ridge? No one. Who wants to be rad? Why, I think we know the answer to that: everyone.

The game is so familiar, I feel as though I played it once, long ago...

That being said, I obviously did not play it for long enough to reap the benefits, and so I, like others in this thread, am not nearly as rad as we could have been D:

That was such a great movie, and it's amazing that it was a true story. As you all know, Lucas went on to create the popular Star Wars franchise and the little boy grew up to become acclaimed actor James Woods.
