Does anyone else ever see a roman numeral in real life (like III, VI, or IX) and associate it with it's corresponding FF game?

I especially do this with clocks (despite them having IIII instead of IV for some reason)

yes i do! But my dad taught me the roman numerals when i was younger so i guess its 50/50

4 was written as IIII at first, it got changed to IV later on.

FFVII uses the IIII version in the Temple of Ancients, and many think it's an error, but I'm certain it was done on purpose.

When I see Roman numerals I actually think of Castlevania. You know, those blocks you get with the numerals on them? Power ups or something.

If the clock uses IIII for four, I wonder why it doesn't use VIIII for nine?

I think it has something to do with symmetry.
