First off, I don't have the best camera in the world ( its a point and shoot but I do love it! ) and I've never had any classes but I've always liked taking pictures. I do edit the photos in photoshop. ( I cheat ) So here's some pictures I've taken... look at them.... or something.

http://i299.photobucket.com/albums/mm302/FuzakeruGraphics/PlaygroundWheel.jpg
Its a steering wheel on some old playground equipment I used to play on when I was young.

I got crazy with the sharpening tool but man.... I wish those were big blankets. They look so comfy!

http://i299.photobucket.com/albums/mm302/FuzakeruGraphics/FallenGiant.jpg
I like how it looks like a tree but it's not! It's a branch and only about the size of a leg!

Jess! NO WAI. @_@ I've looked up to your photography for so long! To have you say it looks nicer than silly point and shoot is remarkable to me! -flails-

I am not very arty or anything so I probably can't give you any useful critique or anything like that I just wanted to post and say awesome imho. Especially these last ones, love the first and third ones in your last post but all the pictures look good to me

You have a real talent for photography. Your angles and eye for a good photo are excellent. Ever think about going into it professionally?

Thanks, DK. I appreciate you taking the time to comment. n_n

Rocket, uhm. Oh man. You have no idea how much I'd love to. I sorta want to go in to Graphic Design so I can at least use my photographs or my love of persepctive in something 'artsy'.

The one with the glasses, the third beach picture and the broken beer bottle are the best imo.

They're all pretty good, though.

Have you thought about photographing people, e.g. portraits, situations etc.?

I've seen professional man-made-rich-from-it photography that's of a lower calibre than some of these. I'm not going to go all out and say I love them all - in fact, I think some of them aren't very good at all. However, almost all are good, and maybe a third or so are geniunely brilliant.

Regardless of my personal tastes, the fact remains that you do, as Rocket Edge said, have a great eye for scenes and angles. Every one of your photos here prove that. It's definitely something you should consider pursuing.

-BLUSH- I don't know. Someone did pass along some of my pictures to someone on FB though and I got invited to this photography graphic artist thing on Tuesday and they wanted to talk and meet me. I guess I'll see if that goes anywhere but I don't have enough knowledge in the field to be a professional, imho. Thankssss though! <3 This encourages me to keep it up as a hobby for sure! n_n

Quin, I truly appreciate your honesty! Harsh critique is sometimes the hardest to swallow but I find it helpful and I sincerely take to heart the compliments in there. You're also very encouraging!

I like the first and the last best in this series, although I feel like the last could be cropped differently to be more effective. Your watermark is really unusual!

Fuzakeru
12-23-2009, 01:29 AM
Thanks! I'm too lazy to use the same watermark. >_> I just filter through my different fonts and overlay it. Haha! -failure-

Y'know, I played with cropping the last one so it was tall and skinnier but it always felt like it lost some of the sparkle to the water drops when I took out some of the dark background. :/ I'm not 100% happy with it still. I'll probably go back and play with it later. ..... okay, I probably won't. I'm lazy. :< Lol!

So it's that time of year when all the C/O ____ kids graduate and my brother happens to be part of the 2010 variety! I'm so proud of him! His senior friends and he needed pictures to put on their group project so we went out to the mall today and I offered to take pictures and liven them up. Here's how they turned out - ( Keep in mind that having 17/18 year old boys focus on making 'nice' faces and staying still so they didn't blur out with my clumsy point and shoot was a feat I did NOT successfully accomplish. LOL! I did the best I could! )

You have no idea how much I'd LOVE to do this stuff professionally, guys. x_x I really do! I thought about starting a site where I do the photo editing and charge like $____ for this effect or for that. Like, them e-mail me the picture. I send them an estimate. They throw me ideas and thoughts. Me edit. Me send a preview to them with a big watermark. If they like it, they paypal and I send them the unmarked version. I've seen another site do this but he wasn't too good at it. :/

And nah, no classes for me. :< I considered going to school for it though.

Nice as always ;) I really like the ones by the old school bus. And this one:

http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y278/Fuzakeru/nICHOLASSENIORRELAX2.jpg

On a sidenote - it typically gives the picture a more gloomy mood when the person looks down. Especially for graduation photos and the like, there may be a lot of symbolic value in the subject looking ahead or even slightly up. Just a thought!

Yeah. I like that one of him a lot. The problem with my brother is that I can't get him to 'pose' in any particular fashion. He has ADHD pretty bad and even on medication he gets twitchy and it's hard for him to sit still and Aspergers Syndrome so he feels really awkward out in public and even more so in front of the camera.

I had this one picture of him standing with his back against a rusted street lamp where half of the downtown area is under construction behind him but around him was all new buildings and not ONE person was anywhere walking by. It was SUCH A COOL SHOT but he was smiling in all of the pictures from that spot and it looked so forced that it just killed the entire thing. So I just had to constantly help him to relax and he's like 6'3 or 6'4 so relaxed for him is usually looking down and a bit slumped. I don't know why cause I think he's quite the handsome guy. I had to keep getting him to stand up straight or sit up without looking like it was military school. It was a very 'patient-filled' experience. Though that's one thing my brother always does - he teaches me constant patience.

Thanks, Rantz! <3 Your commenting makes me super happy.
