This season is pretty damn good. Season 1 was kind of "meh" at times for me, but this one is really good. I guess Season 1 was setting up the awesomeness of Season 2. I need to really read these books sometime.

This episode was insane, though it's getting kind of repetitive, with all of the orgies. Tara and (forgot his name) doing it was pretty sexy though, mmmhmmmmm! But then you see a girl eat dirt and just generally ugly breast ruining it. xD

I'm very interested in Maryanne's claws. I think she must be the bull beast thingy, because she has the three claw hands.

Jessica is by far my favorite, because Tara is being ruined by the Maryanne plot arc. She cracks me up!

ive only started watching season 2 and im liking it so far...(as mentioned before things are getting repetative with maryanns story)!

The thing is with Sookie...i like that in some situations she seems strong and all but there are times that she annoys the crap outta me...she does things wrong and says "sorry what else do you want me to say" and then she can turns things around to argue back and forth...like with her fight with Sam last episode...she gets angry at him for leaving without telling her and then all of a sudden shes like "oh wait im leaving too" and ends with some bull about how its not a good way to end things blah blah....eh she just irks me sometimes (just thought i'd get that out)

Eric's seems pretty cool and Jessica is funny...and hot...couldnt stop laughing when she didnt know how to open the coffin I cried aloud with mirth and merriment!

The crazy claw bull thing looks like a Minotaur so that's what I have been calling it. I am assuming somehow that the Minotaur and Maryann are related cuz according to what was said here and in Wiki, Maryann is maenad, a follower of Dionysus. Dionysian rites are pretty fucking bizarre and it explains the excess sex and eating. I am also wondering how Daphne knows Sam's secret and what is her own secret.

When Andy Bellefluer went into the kitchen to interrogate Lafayette on his two-week absence, and he went wild and started screaming and put Lafayette into a mental shock and starting crying and trying to hide because he kept picturing Eric screaming at him. Terry came in, and being one of the best characters in the show, told Andy to GTFO and comforted Lafayette by hugging him and employing one of his vet comfort techniques by telling him to imagine a shining ball of warmth protecting him. Best "awww" moment of season 2 ever. :(

The whole smug-ass scene with the Fellowship was hilarious.

"Be careful... every time we open these doors soooooo much love comes gushing out that it can be overwhelming!!!"

EDIT: @Lekana - I dunno which I prefer. I do really like the books, but the characters it focuses on it, with the exception of Eric, are all characters that I don't even like so much. I love the more minor characters of the show, like Lafayette, Tara (before this whole Maryann crap started), Terry and Jessica way more than Bill and Sookie. And the fact that I watched the TV show first makes me a bit biased.

Maryann and Tara's stuff still isn't that riveting, but it's been annoying me less. And Michelle Forbes is a good actress and fun to watch. She was good in Battlestar Galactica too.

True Blood finale... I am dissapoint.

I'm bugging out because I cannot foresee how it's going to tie into the books except for the whole Hadley x Queen thingie, and Bill's maker being the one who sent out the kidnapper, and then in his absence, Sookie is like OMFG BILL I HATE U and we FINALLY get to the whole shifter werewolf thing.

I'm glad that Eggs was taken out, finally!

This episode/finale was disappointing.

The maryanne even went way to quick for all the build up they put into it. and Honestly I didn't care about him asking to marry her. The characters in the show do not show the connection they had in the books. I thought it was rushed in there "Oh lets have him ask to marry her on top of all these other books we've thrown together at once! That'll add suspense!" Shame on you Writers :colbert:

The only thing I was really omg about was poor hoyt :( he's like my favorite guy now. I feel bad for the poor guy.

Well, it certainly wasn't the best. They could have done more with Maryanne and involve Eric more. I was expecting Bill to hand Sam over to Maryanne, but in a completely different way; and I must have missed something because I do not recall how Sam survived that stab. It was rather awesome to see her be gutted by his horn.

After the first 20 or so minutes it seemed like the ending to a movie, that is until Bill was taken. I was over joyed to see that, does that make me a bad fan? I was also slightly disgusted by the proposal. I think I would have found it sweet if I didn't hear about the Eric x Sookie from the books.

I didn't mind the finale so much. There were things I liked and didn't like, but overall I was into it enough.

He says the queen is only 400. She might have said that in the show and I just forgot, but... really? That's so young. Isn't she, like, a thousand or something in the book? Eric is way older than her and that seems weird.

God, such a letdown.

Alan Ball said there would be a HUGE payoff for the Maryanne storyline and there wasn't! I mean yeah, I thought the way she died in the end was rather tragic. And the last lines she uttered were powerful and sad. She wasted her whole long life and realized it in the end. But it was nothing CLOSE to making up for dragging us through that storyline episode after episode. Ugh.

And barely any screen time for Eric. *shakes fists*

I thought the episodes with Godric were so much more compelling than the finale.

I found it amusing that they wrapped up the Maryanne storyline like halfway through the episode, then made way for hopefully more interesting things to develop. The scene with Maryanne and the bull was beautiful, and a great way to end it after that horrid storyline dragged forever. I wonder where the heck Bill got that bull for Sam to imprint. xD

And BJ and I lol'd that they started building up Eggs like he was going to have some kind of storyline and then *brainsplat*.

Jessica/Hoyt are breaking my heart. I hope Jessica's evilness doesn't last long. ;________;

This episode was notably lacking in Eric. All Eric-centric episodes are vastly superior to other episodes.

Also, Sookie running out of the bathroom saying yes to Bill was so cheesy that I'm kind of glad he got taken. Dumbasses.

I liked the finale just fine. The vampire queen was awesome (Evan Rachel Wood did a good job), and the way Maryann died was rather beautifully done.

So yeah, now I can't wait for the 3rd season, which probably won't air here for a long time to come :(

Also, what's everybody's problem with Sookie anyway? Everybody here seems to dislike her, but I actually like her quite a bit! xD


Oh, and I just found out that the guy who plays Godric is Danish... I don't think I've seen him in anything else before? - good job at getting the part of Godric as a completely unknown 20 year old Danish actor. Not bad.
