I seem to have an upset stomach :( it really sucks. Took 2 tums to try and help calm it and now i'm going to go back to bed to see if i can sleep yet or not.
TOPIC: When you're not feeling well, what measures do you take to make yourself better?

Oh, I'm such an dumbass when it comes to my own health...I honestly can't remember the last time i went to the doctor. My remedy for every possible disorder or symptom is to ignore it and wait until it gets better.

Yeah, I do this every time. Unless there's something wrong with my eyes or ears, then I go to the doctor as soon as possible. Taste, touch and smell I don't care so much about but there's no way I'm losing my sight or hearing.
I have a weird stomach. There's always something wrong with it - that, or I have heart burn. I don't even know!
Tums and Chewy Rolaid are my homeboys.

I don't ever take anything, though, today, I'm gonna pay for the Chipotle I ate yesterday. The hot red sauce and then the green sauce in a bottle... GOODNESS.

1 - Curl up in a ball and pity myself for a while
2 - Release I'm probably just being soft, and stop complaining
3 - Go do normal stuff
Occasionally I might, y'know, rest or drink some water. Otherwise it's just same old, same old.

in cases like yours, pooping.
otherwise, crawling into a small ball.

I rest, drink lots of fluids and just do whatever you have to do when having the certain illness.
Also, cut some apples into really small pieces and let them get brown a bit before you eat them. It's good for the stomach. Also bananas.

Sleep and play games.
Drugs, and then get on with things, or if it's really bad try and sleep it off.

Grab wherever it hurts, twist it, then afterwards reflect on little it is hurting when not twisted and then get on with my life.

This. I also try to sleep more.
My illnesses tend to be due to alcohol poisoning anyway.

Just rest it off, and I'm nearly always fine afterwards.
Like other people in this thread, I, too, avoid the doctor. Haven't been in about 8 years. A pity that my run is about to end, as I have to see a specialist because of "abnormalities" behind one of my eyes. As Face said, you don't fuck about with your sight.

I sometimes take meds and rest a bit, but most times I just ignore it. Most of my problems go away within hours.
