Except for the dried strawberries, I'm not enjoying it ;_;

There is nothing in our house I can eat besides canned/frozen vegetables, raw meat I don't know how to prepare and cereal. We have no milk.

What is your opinion on cereal without milk? Are there any other things you like to pour in your cereal?

Nothing special. I sometimes have raspberry yoghurt.

When I'm crazy obsessive about getting protein, rather than using milk I'll use vanilla protein powder and water.

But I also like dry cereal sometimes.

Cereal tastes better with plain yoghurt.

Embrace it, taste it, live it.

Nope. There was a home ec class in middle school and there was a cooking class in high school, but I didn't take those :P

It's probably bacon or something...but my mom flips out when I cook anything when she's not home. Seriously, I don't know what's she's going to do when I go to college next fall :eep:

Depends on the cereal. Some of them are fine to eat without the milk.

cereal sans lait is fine as a snack. Try something with nut clusters.

Cereal and yoghurt can be nice. However, my cereals of choice - Crunchy Nut Cornflakes or Jordan's Strawberry Country Crisp (if I'm extravagant) - should only ever be taken with milk.

I like cereal without milk, but I really want to try some cereal with yogurt now. It sounds good.

Some cereals i can handle without milk-and i enjoy them quite a bit :jess:

However for the most part i have to have milk, otherwise i have a fit :(

i know how you feel about having nothing to eat around the house. my parents left for Las Vegas for 4 days this morning and...didn't stock the cupboards, fridge, or pantry :( so I have to make up random things to make for dinner for me and my brothers.

Homemade pizza with cheese and pepperoni tonight:excited::excited::excited:

Ugh, I know the feeling. I think my parents are having a starve-off contest with me. They make sure to only have expired and/or inedible food available, and then when I cave and go buy food, they go eat it.

Eating is apparently an obstacle course in this house. I was looking for the toaster yesterday and I found the toaster hidden in the back of a closet with soaps and cloths and stuff, but there was no wire on it so I couldn't plug it into a socket. I eventually found that under the stairs.

Maybe it's a sign, maybe I'm not supposed to eat.

What sort of raw meat ? Is it thawed? We can teach you how to cook.

What you need to do is buy those little satchels of pasta or rice and stash them in your room. That way you always have something easy to prepare readily available when you're hungry.

Failing this, tinned foods are good. Especially if you don't like to cook, as you can learn to enjoy cold spaghetti and baked beans like I do.

Failing all other options, just sit tight because your body will start eating itself.

My mom scolded me on myspace for "sneaking out of the fridge." I guess I'm not allowed to eat unless she spoon feeds me

Learn to improvise. Tap water is similar to skim milk. Or use soda for fun cereal

Yoghurt and cereal is delicious. Other than that cereal is good on "koldskål" as well.

Dry cereal has never really been a big hit with me.

I'll eat cheerios dry sometimes. Non with a spoon, but as finger food... like a baby.

I'm going to buy you one of those beer hats for your birthday.

Breakfast juice + cereal = Surprisingly good.

Rice bubbles + Glass of breakfast juice = Still as good, though slightly weirder.

Cereal without milk is like ... well, I was going to say Sonny without Cher, but Sonny was kind of successful without Cher so the analogy, it fails me.

I was under the impression that females had inbuilt milk humps where the dairy reserves can be accessed via the use of a mouth or a breast pump. This is so they will never have to experience the horror of dry cereal. Males unfortunately do not have this luxury.

I used to eat Chex dry all the time! Mmmmm... yum!

I eat a lot of bran cluster type cereals nowadays and pouring that in to my yogurt is amazing!

Otherise, I like using soy milk in my cereal.

I always eat my cereal dry. If I put milk, it is on the side in a glass.

Fruit Loops FTW!

I hate stuff like Trix and Froot Loops :(

Actual fruit is awesome, though. Especially if you just chop it up and put it in your cereal rather than buying cereal with dried fruit in there already.
