Why do we have this award? Does anyone really take it seriously? Just look a the list of nominees. DK & Kari. Hsu, Kishi & Rubah. Monda & Rye. Roogle & Yars. Not a serious pairing there at all, unless you count the threesome. I mean come on guys, we all want Monda and Rye to become a lesbian couple but it's just not going to happen because dreams do not come true. Please sit back and enjoy the show as we present you with the best of the best, the cream of the crop, the frosting on the cake: our five finalists! Throughout the competition they have proven to be the best at what they do, and give us one hell of a show in doing so. They are!

<h2>Caraliz - The dancer</h2><img src="http://img188.imageshack.us/img188/3460/dancerh.jpg" width="277" height="375" /><p>Don't let the image fool you; when Caraliz gets to dancing, she'll be popping, locking and krumping like you've never seen it done before. She'll move in ways thought impossible with regards to human anatomy, she'll shake the traditionalists out of their seats and amaze everybody else. Artemis would be proud.</p>

<h2>Laddy - The singer</h2><img src="http://img8.imageshack.us/img8/2442/retrosingerthumb1271178.jpg" /><p>Perpetually in the spotlight, Laddy gets the undivided attention of the audience by smoothly brushing his goldy locks and fluttering his eyelashes. If you haven't swooned at this point, wait until he starts singing. This lad has a most divine voice, but most of all, he has the sparkling aura of Apollo himself and will brighten up any situation he's seen in.</p>

Top hat, tailcoat and a stunning smile to top it off, this man has unbelievably many aces up his sleeve. Watch him pull cods out of his hat, eat doves, and saw women in half for real and getting away with it. With a great attitude and more talents than Zeus could count, Levian is surely a worthy finalist. Although admittedly, I'm not quite sure about the mathematical aptitude of the Greek pantheon. Nevermind that!</p>

Who is this little jew? What's he going to do? But when qwertysaur starts doing his thing, his talent is unquestionably extraordinary. The audience cheers and can't get enough of him! Often one to let one of his many mascots speak for him, this doesn't make him two-faced. On the contrary, qwerty is an honest person who can always be counted on. If Laddy has a divine voice, by Hermes, this young man has two!</p>

<h2>smittenkitten - The dompteuse</h2><img src="http://img32.imageshack.us/img32/6707/liontamer.jpg" width="375" height="375" /><p>Indubitably an incarnation of Demeter herself, smittenkitten appears as tame and harmless as she is comely. You need however only take a look at the beasts she faces without blinking to know that she can reverse the roles at will, instantly becoming a ferocious feline, rendering her partner a tame, harmless kitten. All shall love her--and despair.</p>

Once again, ladies and gentlemen of Eyes on Final Fantasy, I come before you to introduce those among us who lack a certain thing we like to call common sense. It should come as no surprise that many of the nominees for this category are, in fact, the very same who we thought might attempt to plant a cheerio in hopes of growing a doughnut (on that note, through personal experimentation, I've decided that watering with chocolate milk is most effective). I said of the last group that it takes a special sort of person to participate in such folly, and the same holds true of this new batch of individuals.

Unfortunately, this time Jess hasn't been nominated so I can't poke fun at her horrific geography, and I'm much too lazy (my old man insists that I use the word unmotivated now) to PM any of the nominees to attempt to gather any amusing anecdotes demonstrating their absent mindedness to fill the void.

Anyway, let's skip the idle chit-chat and move straight into the introductions. What concerns me most about this group of individuals is that they might potentially keep super glue in their bathrooms as if its some kind of hardware store. Mine, personally, is more akin to a pharmacy.

Our first nominee is ~*~Celes~*~. I would like to note that she has not paid any heed to my criticism regarding tildes and asterisks.

Next we have Jessweee?. This young lady is a constant source of ire due to the way the damned music note messes with my text documents when I'm tallying votes for the Screen Name Competition. Seriously, it's obnoxious.

Our third nominee is Levian, the lone source of testosterone (hardly noticeable, really) in the group. Interesting tidbit: did you know that Levian has to use a step-stool to see himself in the mirror when he brushes his teeth?

Fourth, we have NeoTifa. She claims that because she's so nervous about this type of event happening, she triple checks the toothpaste before proceeding. This type of paranoia clearly indicates previous experience with such an issue.

The fifth nominee is rubah. She's an engineering major. I suppose that means she might have hammers or something in her bathroom, so super glue isn't a stretch.

Next is Rye, whose life goal is apparently to be a horse buggerer.

Our last nominee, smittenkitten. I've recently learned of some confusion involving a kittens and bonzai trees. Given that she has a pet kitten now (and it's freaking adorable), I think it's safe to assume she's figured out they don't grow on trees.

So there you have our nominees: a right bunch of lovely people who are one toy short of a Happy Meal. Standby for results, fellow EoFFers. I'm going to go triple-check my toothpaste tube.

Ho Chi Minh: Like the wiki says, Aerith's Knight is known by all, yet tolerated by some. He also fought against other renown Mafia players-- often playing on the side of the big bad Northern Vietnamese scum. Even though he is utterly scolded almost everyday, you can still find a shrine of his head in what was once known as Saigon.

Nelson Mandela: The misunderstood and perhaps misguided rebel, Baloki, who maybe sort of might have African in him, is known for spamming the boards with a barrage of threads full of play on words. For all his life, he has been shunned due to his love for Furries and dislike for anti-apartheid society. His account was banned and he was forced to live in a caged world of damnation until he was unbanned by the overlords and the South African president, F.W. de Klerk. However, Baloki continues to state that the CK's are Shinra to this day.

Joseph Stalin: After realizing that gold was not the new black, Goldenboko sought to reform the EoFF wiki; which had been greatly outdated for years. When many teased him for caring too much, he just went ahead and did the dirty work with the help of members like Momiji a.k.a. Vladimir Lenin.

Karl Marx: Much like Baloki, I'm my Ow MILF has stated that the "EoFF staff are Shinra". He has also been known to debate against communism/socialism; claiming that capitalism is far superior. Little did most know that this was all a carefully crafted disguise. His true identity is that of the recently resurrected, Karl Marx, the revolutionary creator of communism.

George Washington: As one of the Founding Fathers of Eyes on Final Fantasy, LoonyBoB has recently led approximately 100 EoFFers away from their homesteads. He was fed up with the frequent database errors and taxation without representation, so he sought to rally his own rebel troops who's gain is to post commentary on various video games on the front site. This was a drastic change for some of the EoFFers who had grown accustomed to Final Fantasy news related updates. In present day, he still leads the omgmygame militia of bloggers, gamers, and intersexuals.

Joan of Arc: NeoTifa heard the voices in her head! They told her to make a thread about "Why Dick > EoFF". It was God (http://forums.eyesonff.com/members/god.html), the wise supreme being, who wanted her to carry on the duty of mercilessly condeming the likes of Star Wars and World of Warcraft fanboys/girls alike. Other members of the online community followed suit with bold acclaims of, "anime is smurfing terrible" and "Obama out". After the mayhem had subdued, she carried on posting about male genitalia all in God's name.

Che Guevara: Warren "Che" Wong is often found comfortably siting in his fancy leather armchair while smoking Cuban's finest--all of which was paid by the loyal members (and advertisers) who populate this Executive's site on a daily basis. After SPDude stepped off the thrown, WarrenW and his trusted sidekick, Michael Castro decided to invest. It couldn't have been a smarter move seeing as how he now owns one of the largest Final Fantasy sites on the internet and all of our souls.

There's plenty of reasons why people are banned. They could be a troll, they could have posted porn, they could have just become an asshole after a noticeable change in personality after a certain amount of years. Now of course, that isn't to say that people who start as a jerk will be spared from the glorious banhammer.

But there's something even more to be said about people who get banned and come back. EoFF is such a magnetic place full of vibrant personalities and thoughtful conversation, that people just can't stop themselves from being attracted to the allure (*snicker* yeah, really *snicker*). As it turns out, insulting someone on the internet is always met with retaliatory and escalating force; indeed, paired reactions are not always equal, nor opposite.

Enter the second account: man's way of fighting the oppressive regime of the internet-ass-kicking in an attempt to aggravate those in charge some more. But to be truly exceptional, you've got to be able to stick around this time, only because of the graceful amusement of the regulatory elite. Yeah, you never really got away with it in the first place.

Hello and welcome back to the Cidprentice. I am your host, Del Trump. For 3 weeks these staff members have battled it out for the coveted position of Executive. With it they get the opportunity to lead one of my top projects* as well as the benefit of a comfortable salary**. Our contestants have just completed their challenge, and are now awaiting me in the boardroom. You know what that means. Somebody is going to get ENFORCED (fired).

As usual I am joined to my left by my trusty vice president, MichaelC. Michael, say hello.

To my right usually sits WarrenW, VP of timely server crashes, but he isn't available at the moment. Filling in for him today is former Cidprentice finalist, Agent Proto.

Proto: I look forward to each of you blowing your competitors.

Now to evaluate each of our contestants and why they should be enforced. Then the executives will make the final decision.

Azar - Azar is too normal, therefore he doesn't fit in here at all. Although he did come up with the great idea of Eyes On Plays, I have yet to see him complete any of the challenges, even the super easy 'enter your name and press start' challenge.

Baloki - Baloki is my least favorite member in the history of Eyes on Final Fantasy. So the only reason he's <i>not</i> fired is that he somehow is the most productive and useful member of Site Staff. So if he were to slack off, <i>even one bit</i>, he's gone.

eestlinc - There are rumors going around that eestlinc is the second account of another member. He did not get nominated for that ciddie, however. If this were true than he would need to be banned or merged with his other account. So he'd technically be fired unless the other account is also staff. :greenie:

fire_of_avalon - When asked by a fellow staff member why she stays on despite dwindling activity, foa proceeded to <i>kick his ass</i>. This obviously cannot be tolerated. Oh, wait, it was Loony BoB? Nevermind then.

KoShiatar - Kosher's nickname, Kosher, is pretty fun to use. Also she has an amusing way of speaking. However, I recently got a request from her to have her name changed to ~*YunaBuTtErFlY6741*~. Negative Red Wizard Points for that one (though Leeza said it was ok :roll2).

Loony BoB - Loony BoB only has about 1,000 posts this year. That's on pace to be way below his carreer average of 1,000,000,000 posts per year. We could send him to the minors, but he's been with the club so many years that it would eat a lot into our salary cap. We might just have to release the old slugger.

Momiji - Momiji is too fun to troll to lose him. Then again, firing him would probably piss him off to the point of amusing results. Conflicted...

The whole aspect of being banned can be a difficult thing! First you have to be sure that that you can get on enougth peoples tit's to win the feat! To Annoy is the first step, but remember that 45% of EOFF is annoying anyway. Sagensyg would create a thread about a Goastse Sandwich, enano would stalk all the ladies I can think of and send them kinky PMs, I would personally spam the forums with tickets to a Celine Dion Concert but that may not be enougth.
You, the winner of this prestigious Ciddie award can come up with better things i am sure, because you are the master of annoying, the king of sleaze, the emperor of doush,and now the winner of this Ciddie.

We see many members here at EoFF come and go. Some are missed, some we never knew existed. Some leave quietly, others say goodbye, and others... oh boy these others. Sometimes, a member has to be forced to leave. These latter members are part of a notorious group known as The Banned. Members like Lovehurts, known for his signature statement "They're outside talking on the talkies!" or, Primus Inter Pares, who posted his penis in the art forum for a solid day before anyone found out, or Throne of Dravaris, who had made so many second accounts it wasn't even funny anymore - these members all had something in common. They all shared some level of stupidity that got themselves banned. Others were banned as an outright tactic of internet legend, here at EoFF. Linus, who has come back, was at one time banned for faking his own suicide, only to find out later that he was kidding and BOOM! Banned 4lyf.
These members hold a special place in our hearts. Being banned sets an example to everyone else saying "Don't do what they did, or we'll cut you off from the grace of EoFF." a fate worse than Hell to some. No, get a goddamn room. Stop it. I don't need to be reminded of the fact that I am alone, bitter, can't get a significant other. Are people so pathetic that they need to flout their relationships, real or imagined, over the internet to a group of peers and somehow tell others that they have some kind of "experience" when it comes to the matter?

The inevitable answer being "yes," and knowing that my misogynistic tendencies to be my own damn fault should lead me to at least try to be happy for you. Maybe, I should be impressed, that people are able to show off their other over the internet without having said person get snatched up by legions of marauding, lecherous, self-interested pricks.

But here's what I've learned recently that makes each and every one of these couples significant to the EoFF populace:

There's cities buried underneath our cities. But who here can help us dig it out? No campaign was ever won by a single person; every general needs his army. No math equation taking sixty-four pages ever made sense without someone smarter to explain it in two. No galaxy-sized mecha was ever made without a team of people with the desire to fight despair. No religion ever killed innocent people without their government. No man is an island. No man has ever gone insane without the help of a woman.

But maybe the scale is too epic; it is safe to say, that people could use a hand from time to time. We can't do it all by ourselves. Every day in life is filled with something new and interesting to behold, and it's not like failure is always absent. For the future's sake, one should accept advice when advised to take. Or maybe people ask for it.

That is to say, I wonder, who has helped out people in the most general manner? Hsu, with all of his useful things, or maybe rubah, the other side of his engineer's coin? Could it be Leeza and her skill with cats? Or could it be Face, with all of the powers of 2 memorized?
