Okay so, it's been a long time since i've posted any of my work in here, but now that school's out, i've been able to make some artz.

Also, I dedicate this thread to scrumpleberry, 'cause she's probably lost any hope of me uploading anything to my deviantart accounts (yes plural), and probably forgot I am artistically inclined. Here's to you, astro twin!

Anywaaay, to kick things off, I have 3 pictures I hand drew, scanned, then colored. I've been playing ALOT of FFX-2, and that definitely inspired these 3 pictures. I also discovered this effect on my Paint.Net program called "Median", and I loved it. It cleans up all the lines, and kind of meshes everything together. I wanted these pictures to look cartoony and have very flat colors, and I think I succeeded. :jess:

I call this girl "The Gunner" 'cause she's...got a huge @$$ gun, right!? I loved drawing those big, chunky boots and the gun!

And this is "The Thief". She's sneaky and feisty, as you can see. I loved drawing her fringe boots, and because i'm an aspiring fashion designer, I wanted to include this current fringe trend. And I love her tunic and crazy accesorizing.
http://i111.photobucket.com/albums/n137/al-bhed_kid0827/TheThief.jpg

And finally, this girl is "The Magician". Pretty crazy hair (half-shaved, half-long), huh? I saw a picture of the R&B singer Cassie with hair like that, and I knew I had to draw it. And oh, she's supposed to be wearing sequined leggings, in case you couldn't tell! Instead of cliche, over-played, typical wizard attire, I wanted her to look more modern and contemporary.

Tell me what you think~

PRETTY! You should totally do somehing professionally. I love the style, too!

I love the Gunner design the most, it meshes together wonderfully. You should do graphic novel work!!

Thanks! I don't think i'd ever be able to do graphic design professionally, but it's fun to mess around with!

And the Gunner is my favorite too.

Magician needs something a little more special or fancy, even if she is more contemporary, to go with the rest of the set. I do totally love her style, hair and the cut of her outfit though, just it perhaps needs to be a bit louder or more sparkly xD These are looking totally amazing though. Gunner is definitely the best, I think you could do some more to her body suit thingy though.

OF COURSE I NEVER FORGOT YOUR INCREDIBLE SKILLS :aimkiss: I'm so happy you're finally putting things up again xD

there's something about the size of the heads and necks that's weird to me

The Gunner is best, but only because the gun is so fucking badass. Although the Mage is best in terms of simplicity and "less is more", I just can't like that hairdo :O

I love them! I also think the gunner one is my favorite but I think its my affection toward the colors you used on that one that puts it on top for me.

The theif is equally good. She's more earthy and natural to me and I love all the bracelets she's wearing. ( Maybe trophies from her sneaky encounters! )

The mage is pretty cute too! The blazer is funky and gives her a rock edge to match that hair and the earrings but I think the blue dress and yellow leggings are my favorite thing about this piece!

I love your unique style with their anatomy too! n_n

THANK YOU DARLING! And I know what you mean about the Magician's outfit. The Gunner and Thief are so over-the-top, and the Magician is just...a little plain? I don't know, but i'll do better on the next one!

Yeah, that tends to happen alot to my drawing. They end up with big heads and long legs, and it's something I do totally unconsciously! I should work on it! xD

Thanks honey!

Haha, thanks, Daaaan! xD

Long legs are ok, but it if they get too thin compared to the rest of a character's build, that can look weird too. This is most apparent in the last of the three drawings. I think the legs for the other two are fine.

Here's a pieceI just finished like, an hour ago! I used a Sanford Ebony pencil (which is basically charcoal), and it only took about 20-30 minutes! I don't know how the idea came to me, but I thought of a secret agent/spy girl sneaking into a fancy gala event, and then shooting up the place and killing some bad guys and stuff~

Yeah, she can jump 20 feet in the air!

I see what you mean. But if you looked in my sketchbook, you'd see lots of women with impossibly long legs. xD

Skinny up the necks a bit, Dynast. Atm they're like thicker than the limbs xD

I like this one. Just nice everything generally.

You have a very unique style. I can look at your pictures without your name being attached to them, and know it's you that created them.
