We did something like this, but it didn't work. =( So, let's pretend we are at a party with no hotties and no booze and welive smewhat close enought to actually go to one! What do we do? We put in a DVD?

So, EoFF will get together at #eoff on a registered date while we all simaltaneously watch a movie with EoFF commentary!

Who's interested? And what movie film shall we see? =p

I would like a comedy or musical. Mystery Science Theather 3000 Movie or Rocky Horror Pciture Show, anyone?

It would probably be better/easier/more pleasant on a giant group chat on AIM or something of that sort! But that's fun. Maybe a good idea is that a few days before, we distribute a torrent link so that the people who don't own the movie can watch it, and it'll be the same copy at that, so the time will be the same?

I recommend Office Space. I'm in an Office Space mood. V for Vendetta too, if you want action instead of comedy. I've not seen these in a bit.

I don't think it's a good idea to vote for what you want to watch in the thread. Last time a bunch of jerks who had no intention of showing up voted for Mean smurfing Girls and I had to watch the stupid thing. Mind you, having some of you fine people with me made it less of a painful experience.

Hey. You guys. Just saying. IF YOU'RE NOT GOING TO SHOW UP THEN GTFO AND DON'T YOU DARE SUGGEST A MOVIE.

I think The Producers (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aRhkA23yv38&feature=related) would be an excellent choice. I'm willing to watch anything that doesn't get boring. Zoolander, Rocky Horror Picture Show, and Office Space are my favorite suggestions from other people so far.

Laddy
06-27-2009, 01:59 PM
Ooh, The Producers is a good film! =o

EDIT-I have Zoolander lying around somewhere nearby, most other films will need to be rented.

I love it when Jessweee gets angry. :D (she's dead right too)

I'd be happy with any of the four in her post. Though with Office Space I will be frequently screaming "WHERE DO I KNOW THAT GUY FROM ARGH!" because I always forget. (Should the situation ever arise, please pat me on the shoulder and lovingly say "Nix from Band of Brothers. Now shut up.")

Wrong version of the Producers or else I'd agree with Jesse. It's all about the 1968 version.

Otherwise I think it's a pretty good idea. Of the films suggested thus far, I think Die Hard would be quite good. Been a while since I watched that one.

I second Monty Python. Preferably, Life of Brian or Meaning of Life.

Heath
06-29-2009, 06:48 PM
To me I don't think watching Monty Python would be so good if you were wanting to laugh at ridiculous moments rather than laugh because it's genuine comedy. Hence why something like Die Hard would seem better, but that's just my view.
