Hi Rantzien.
Some new bands! Three, like last time:
Handsome Furs
Married-couple indie is the best kind of indie, wouldn't you agree? Well, this lovely couple are entirely in sync with each other as they play sombre, bittersweet songs together. They also have a kind of broken semi-electronical sound going on, making them perfect for those of you who thrive on disharmony and melancholy. They may take a few tries to really get into, but they can really get a grip on a guy. Here are two of my favourite songs of theirs!

This is a link to a band called Looking Glass Wars, and all of their songs in a .rar compression. They are an indie rock band out of Westchester, New York. Seeing as how they are a truly obscure band, there isn't much for me to say about them. As for the music, there's often a very quick changing of styles mid-song, but it always feels like it's connected.
The Musician has songs that are closer to emo, while A Place in a Parlor has songs that have a certain pop-esque influence. For anyone who likes indie rock or alternative rock, this isn't exactly a step out of the proverbial park.
Unfortunately, there exist no YouTube links or Wikipedia articles. They do, however, have a MySpace, and the currently featured songs are 3AM, Oh What a Party it Will Be, Addicted to Your Touch, and Is This Really Poison. There's also a free sampler at the top of the page.

Jupiter Sunrise - now disbanded, this group put out a beautiful music video for Kaye.
Their sound varied from very preppy indie-pop(Who is "Arthur Nix" anyways? or "Casey"?) to heart-tearingly haunting elegies ("Heaven and Endless pt II", "Hopeless"), and some beautiful things in between ("Cherry Wine", "Kaye", "Heaven and Endless").
Some of the early forms of their songs are pretty hideous. The demo version of Heaven and Endless is particularly awful, but they cleaned up their act in time to release Under a Killer Blue Sky, which btw has a beautiful cover imho. http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/51ND7KT5TTL._SL160_AA115_.jpg. Anyway, the album is discontinued, so I guess I'll have to guard my copy closely. I mean seriously, I buy like one cd every two years, on average. So that means something, i think.
