do I get on the airship? I'm not quite sure where I'm supposed to go to get on it and fly around. My save spot is at just before the fight with Yunalesca, so shouldn't I have full access to it now?

If you are in a pal region, make sure to get the Sun crest right after you fight her, or you will have a nasty surprise when going back to get it.
