Do you like bears? Yes, I do.
What is your favourite type of bear? Domestic black/brown.
Have you ever met one? Yes, many.
What was it like? A little bit scary, but awesome.
What did you do with the bear?? I didn't do anything with the bear. I tried to stay out of his way while trying to shoo him out of my back yard. This guy was lounging under my pear tree nibbling on the pears that had fallen. The next time I saw him he was right on my back deck. I had some garbage bags out there that were waiting for the pick-up. These bags had no food-stuff in them, but a bear knows a garbage bag when he sees one so he wouldn't leave my deck till he managed to snag one of those bags. I'm sure he was disappointed in his find.

I like bears. :cat:

My name means Bear! I'm a bear! I'm a bear!

Christ, that was weird.

Do you like bears? Yup. One of my favourite animals.
What is your favourite type of bear? Big ol' grizzly.
Have you ever met one? Had a staring contest with a wild grizzly from about 200 yards away.
What was it like? Awesome. Americans thought I was a crazy man because I left the group and went closer to get a better picture. The bear just stared at me for about 5 minutes then left. :(
What did you do with the bear?? I followed him and we made love. Ever made love with an 8 foot grizzly? No? Yeah, well you die.

Do you like bears? I love bears.
What is your favourite type of bear? Berenstain
Have you ever met one? I have met two bears. When I was eight I my family and I stared at this bear that was just walking down the road and lept into the woods by our house. A few months ago my cousin and I were standing in her driveway, chatting and we kept hearing this growling, groaning noise. We were all wtf and then some bushes rustled to our left and WABAM a bear ran right past us. It couldn't have been more thant 50 ft away.
What was it like? Amazing.
What did you do with the bear?? I left the bear the hell alone!

Yes, of course!

What is your favourite type of bear?
I think all bears look cute, but at the end of the day I'd probably have to say pandas!

Have you ever met one? What was it like? What did you do with the bear??
Never actually met one, but I've seen plenty in zoos and stuff. Also, I went to this Panda Research and Breeding Centre in China, which was really awesome!

Bears are badass. If aliens ever invade you mark my words, it's going to be bears that save us. "In their hubris the aliens had overlooked the most dangerous of Earth's creatures. GRIZZY GOD DAMN BEARS WHO TORE THEM APART!"

I hear you have to kill a polar bear with your bare hands as a right of passage in canadia.

Quindiana Jones

Mounties do not kill. :mad2:

Incidentally, the polar bear isn't actually a bear. It is, in fact, a legume.

Jesus, MILF . . . :erm: Although you may have a point; in my own experience with brown bears, they will tend to regard anything that has base nutrients and is within 95% of their own body mass as "digestible".

Come to think of it, in the above alien invasion scenario, there are bound to be human survivors of the first wave, leaving the refugees to form an underground resistance movement, seeking a savior. All they would need to do is accumulate their household garbage while they wait out the next seasonal rotation of winter to late spring, emerge en masse from their bunkers some humid night, and inundate the newly-constructed extraterrestrial citadel with refuse. ^_^ At this point, the planet's hibernation-dazed bears (greatly disoriented by the dust shell raised into the atmosphere by the violent conquest and given to roam beyond their traditional climatic boundaries) will converge on the area and commence rending. Ursus ex machina, anyone? :chuckle:
