The new season isn't until August of course, but that doesn't mean we can't get going with our fantasy team's. It was recently set up anew for the coming season, so lets get started. I would just like to say that if you do decide to join the league, I hope you'll remain active until the end. Last season I didn't know who was active apart from a few of us, and it would be cool to have a good few of us going right up until the finish.

I'm really looking forward to the fantasy football this season. Last time I only played in a league with my mates from home & ending up finishing last because I lost interest when one of my mates pulled 300 points ahead of me. But no Ronaldo this time, & refusing on principal to have him in my team was indeed my downfall.

But with the EoFF league to look forward too I'm definitely following it up all season:D

Had a bit of a reshuffle. My first choice XI has suffered slightly but my backup has improved.

IN: Campbell - obviously won't get as many goals as Torres, but still think he'll play more and score decently.

IN: Gerrard - I want someone who is more consistent here.
OUT: Rodwell
IN: P Neville - Someone more likely to play.

IN: M Taylor - Someone more likely to get goals as well as assists... although Malbranque is still certainly likely to get the latter, not so much the former.

I reckon I'l stick with the team I picked until after the 1st week or so to get some sort of idea as to the form of certain players. I reckon a fit Michael Owen in a United shirt is a dangerous prospect & a point scoring machine. I reckon Lampard & Anelka will have another good season.

I'd say his role will be sorta the same as Ryan Giggs, brought on for 30 minutes at the end to make an impact. He saved United by doing so against the Malaysian XI.

I want to put in some City players but, like United's midfield, I'm unsure who is 90% likely to start every week. I think I'll wait and see how that goes, first.

I'm planning to keep Folan as a sub but I have Owen as well chances are he'll only be a sub too. Having Lampard & Gerrard in my team hit me hard in the money department but hopefully it'll be worth it in the end. As long as I start better than last season when I insist on keeping Robbie Keane!

Not been a good day for my team. Tevez did nothing and was on the bench, Aston Villa didn't score at all, meaning Agbonlahor and Young barely got any points, and Chelsea didn't get a clean sheet. I'm just hoping the remaining games are good for me. :sweat:

This is gonna be a rough gameweek for myself. Not only is Doyle & Ferdinand injured, but A Young, Cole, Dempsey, & Hangeland aren't playing for me. I made two transfers and still two players aren't playing. I was gonna bring in Jordi Gomez of Wigan but I can't bring myself to lose another 4 points. :sad:

I have forgotten to change my team 4 times over the course of this campaign, resulting in the worst luck possible it's funny. Most recently, last gameweek. Forgot to change my team, Drogba scores twice (third sub), and I had worked my way around to allow 5 million in the bank to bring Torres in as Captain. What happens? He would have gotten me 38 points. I have wasted about 200 points so far by being careless and forgetting to change it.

Still I'm not gonna cry about it and do my best to retain the title. :)

He won't feature much this season with Doyle and Fletcher upfront.
