To be honest, I just felt like sending an email out to every member of EoFF that hadn't posted for a while to say "C'mon, come back to us, poooooooost." Yeah, that pretty much sums it up! I suppose I should give you a link, although it's rather atrocious that you might have forgotten it. Deeply offended! That's how I'd be if you'd have done such a horrendous thing. But! Anyway. To the point. Here is the link to the forums. Because I'm nice.

Holy freaking crap. I was listening to a Final Fantasy song and I got this email. I haven't listened anything FF related in years.

Square's golden era has passed - well Square doesn't really exist anymore. All we are left with now are a bunch of average games tattooed with an ex-legendary brand name.

The wow-factor has gone since 2001, and the classic Final Fantasy ambience practically died after completing IX. Whilst SE isn't running out of ideas per-say, they're running out of 'good' ideas.
