I want to paint my walls, so I'm removing all the layers of wallpaper that my mother has piled on my walls over the years. If I don't, she might paint right over them or even wallpaper over them again while I'm in California!

Most of the layers can be pulled off, because they're stuck to each other instead of to my walls, but the very bottom layer is sticking to my walls. So far, I'm getting it off with water and a scraper, but, since no one is helping me, I'm wondering if there is an easier way.

:cake:

Urine is a natural solvent on most basic glues, the salt also can corrode the paper really quick.

Yes, you must pee on the wall.

Steam it? What? How?

You can get steamers for removing wallpaper

Alternatively just grab some steam and throw it at the walls!!

I thought girls peed steam.

Flex your muscles. Stare intently at it. Scare your wallpaper into falling off.

Water and a scraper is what I used when I wanted to paint my room back in '07.

try an iron and salt water, the iron will steam the salt water and melt the glue

Oh monda! Just pee into a cup and dash it on the walls!

My parents removed the wallpaper (I was not there, I do not know how) from our bathroom and there were some groovy 70s wallpapers underneath!

Oh monda! Just pee into a cup and dash it on the walls and film it for us!

Fixed.

I don't think there's a quick way to do it, but do remember that some wallpapers are specifically designed to prevent/reduce water damage so that might be making it more difficult.

This is what I want my daybed to resemble:

You need to use fire.

Fire solves everything. And if it all goes wrong, it solves everything.

You're gonna need a scraper, and probably a warm damp sponge to soften the edges.

Just to let you know though, there are many nice wallpapers out there nowadays that look like they're painted on - they're pricey, but I desire one!

dont you people know? The stare of Raoul Duke peels wallpaper right off the wall... but then again fire is safer.....go with fire
Edit: I've been duped by the establishment!!!

It (http://i296.photobucket.com/albums/mm163/qwertyxsora/LiquidFlame2.gif) might try to catch it. Also you don't get the throw command until after defeating it.

Blue Mages can throw Rods at any time, although I can't remember exactly how or whether other classes can.

Get some of this stuff. My mom uses it whenever she removes wallpaper or border.

Which is more often than one would expect. :erm:

the only time anyone in my family needed to remove wallpaper, they got Hurricane Andrew to do it for them. I don't know if that will help you, though.

Last time I removed wallpaper, I used that spray goop and a rolly poker thingy, then scraped it away
