This is such wonderful news I couldn't resist posting it here as well. There's good news, people. The economic recession is over.

How do I know, you ask? Well, the number of Google searches for "economic recession" (http://www.politico.com/news/stories/0709/25083.html) are down.

I suppose in this slave camp of a message board, there needs to be a topic, so: what are you going to do with all the cash about to flow your way? It should be any day now as the economy is great!

I will buy the worlds oil reserves, then I will forbid the sale of any of that oil so that the car companies and governments are FORCED to introduce Fuel Cell technology. I will then buy shares in said technology and nuclear power this will make me very rich with that money I shall buy the entire city of Manchester, level it and plant a new forest there. Why Manchester? because I can.

No no no, Raistlin, you're wrong! The number of searches for "economic depression" is down, not "recession"! Yeah, way to ruin the beginnings of a joke that went like, "Yeah, 'cause now we're in a depression so no one's Googling 'recession' any more!" Yeah, I'm not trusting you to read news to me, bucko!

Buy EoFF.

So the economy is going to be restored at the cost of EoFF?

Blue Harvest

The cost? No. I'd give it away to someone who actually cares about the place and has time to do things with it, unlike the current owners.

I'm going to make a million dollars and hold a charity event in Africa. When I show up, I will laugh and moon the audience and go back to my mansion in Napa Valley.

If you could buy the worlds oil reserves you could probably already buy Manchester :(

I like the plan none the less.

people didnt stop stop searching for economic depression 'cause its over but because theve all already searched it, and theres no need to search for economic depression again.

Also if i had that much money i would buy owner ship of EoFF then id be the boss around here.

It's all the more mind-boggling because the claim is so easily rebutted. Sometimes I just want a big heavy sign that says, in huge letters, "CORRELATION DOES NOT EQUAL CAUSATION" that I can hit people with. Starting with the author of that article.

Faulty causality. The reason the amount of searches for that string being down is that people are losing their jobs and can't afford the internet

You will see I am correct by the fact that most search strings are down.
