She is the Rosa/Aeris/Yuna/Penelo type character even though she was created long before most of these girls. But still those other girls still bring more to story than Lenna and are more appealing.

There is nothing wrong with Lenna except she is just that same old stereotype and doesn´t get beyond that. What I would like to know if she and Bartz became a couple. It is hinted but I think Bartz far too different for her.

So what do you think about this young queen?

When I first played FFV, I thought that Lenna and Butz's interactions at the beginning signaled a developing love between them, and it's weird that one never came about! Lenna and Butz would be a cute couple.

Lenna was incredibly boring in my book, I'd be lying if I said I cared two :bou::bou::bou::bou:s for her.

But she was still kinda cute :^D So you go girl!

What I would like to know if she and Bartz became a couple. It is hinted but I think Bartz far too different for her.

One incredibly pleasant surprise the first time I played FFV was that this isn't really hinted at all, apart from one teasing throwaway line from Galuf at the very beginning. I'm glad they dodged that obvious cliché, for once. They're just adventure buddies.

Considering FFV is the game most dismissive of Amano's input (such that even the Amano-friendly Dissidia refuses to give Butz his proper white hair), I don't think that's too much to worry about.

I tend to ignore that she's suppose to be the White Mage type and make her a Knight. :D

Is she the queen of Karnak? I've read "Lady Floating in Green," "Lenna," and "Queen of Karnak."

She looks completely unlike his known illustrations of Lenna, so it's probably not her. It could be the Queen of Karnak, I guess, or just some random picture he handed in without really trying to attach an in-game character to it. (See FFIII's "Yeah, here's a guy on a dinosaur horse, I guess he's a Light Warrior or something. Whatever! (http://finalfantasy.wikia.com/wiki/File:Amano_FFIII_NES_Lead_Dude.jpg)")

Glad you like it. The Amano love in Dissidia is seriously awesome, but I agree with you that I doubt too many of his influences carried into FFV.

I don't know what I think of the Bartz/Lenna relationship. I didn't get a huge love feel from them. But then, I haven't finished the game yet. I'm kind of wondering if I want them to be a couple. I like the love stories in FF games, but their friendship is just fine too. I can see it going either way. I do like Lenna a lot as a character though.

Lenna... I'm pretty neutral on her. Regretfully, she's just doesn't stand out as much as her party members. I mean her sister Faris is like one of the best female FF characters in the series (unless you are playing the PS1 English version :cry: ) and Bartz and Galuf are just awesome. Even Krile comes in with her cool personality quirks, in Fact Krile is pretty much like Lenna except more memorable for me.

So, I always try to find romance in games, but I didn't really see much in FFV. I totally would have wanted Bartz and Lenna to be a couple, but I agree that as the story goes on they really do just seem like "adventure buddies." If anything, there's more evidence of Bartz thinking Faris is hot stuff, so if anything, maybe he'd have some fling with her.

As an aside, I didn't really like Lenna. She got kind of annoying after a while -- how many times are you going to sacrifice yourself for ANOTHER random animal friend. I get it. YOU CARE.

As another aside, Dissidia has made me love Bartz. :love:
