Recently did a study of a Frida Kahlo painting. It turned out like this:

Sorry for the bad photo. Graphite pencil on 18x24 paper.

Then I did a self-portrait using her style (this photo was taken before it was totally completed - the bottom banner now says "My heart, revealed":

That's assuming that I can draw accurately! WHICH MAYBE I CANNOT

That's pretty amazing work, Giggles. I may not be a fan of Frida, but her artwork are quite amazing, and I have to say that your work closely mirrors her's. How long did this take you, btw? Doing graphite art is very time consuming, I know because I've done a few myself.

Thank you, Proto! The study took me about 7 hours and the self-portrait between 8 or 9. It was very time consuming, but well worth it. It's hard to stay patient and put in the necessary detail!

I did a self portrait once... my ex's sis said I looked like a scary marionette....
