As a main topic, discuss the best restaurant, cafe, and general food & beverage puns you've ever encountered.

My favorite ones are Brewed Awakenings (an amazing coffee shop in Rhode Island - the only thing I really miss) and Rice to Riches (http://www.ricetoriches.com/).

As a side topic, help me pick out a rice pudding flavor and topping to eat from Rice to Riches, I'm going to that place next week to try it out. I'll eat whatever EoFF picks out for me, as long as it's not disgusting sounding! I am a picky eater though, so I'm curious as to what I'll end up eating.

OH MY GOD I LOVE RICE TO RICHES! The day after I went, I bought 2 six packs of rice pudding. Of course, it wasn't anywhere near as good. The one I had had like coconuts or something on it. It was scrum-diddly-umptious!

Good to know! Do you live in NY then, or were you just visiting? =O

I live in NJ, so my friends and I go to the city a lot, especially during Free NJ Transit week. I always get dragged to the city when I have a million pages to read for my classes.

Ohhh, the durty jersssseyyyy. That's awesome. I've been dying to find more NY-NJ oriented EoFFers because all of the ones right now are too lazy to travel in Manhattan and go to a museum with me, or live in the deep cabin forest recesses of upstate,

<a href=http://www.hewnandhammered.com/photos/uncategorized/phokinggrandopening.jpg>Vietnamese noodle soup lends itself to these things.</a>

But I always like "Lettuce Souprise You" when I would see it growing up.

I wouldn't mind going to a museum! I've been meaning to go to one for a while, but I don't have any friends that would take my invite seriously. They'd just spit on it and throw it right back in my face! With spiky attachments! :(

you gotta go to the NYC transit museum in Brooklyn. So cool!

If you're in Manhattan on Wednesday, we should go to a museum (Natural History? MoMa? Who knows!) and then invade Rice to Riches! Nom nom nom!

I am in Albany on Wednesday locked in a torture dungeon answering questions. I will be in Manhattan on Thursday before my flight leaves. Well, I may be in Brooklyn.

I was in Albany this past Thursday to see my dad. Why did you pick next Thursday to go?!

Because elsie doesn't want to be a New York buddy. He'd rather escape to Alaska away from me. :(

This is shaping up to be the New York Unofficial Meet-Up thread.

I'm taking the NY bar exam on Tuesday and Wednesday in Albany. I fly back to Seattle Thursday night. But I'll be back in a year!
