(poll coming)

TOPIC: How often do you express emotions of love or similar emotions? NOTE: This doesn't mean romantic style love.

Not as often as I should, probably. But I do try to let the people who matter most how much I appreciate them.

relatively often!

I don't really. I mean, I love my friends, but that's about it. I have been with the same girl for about three years and haven't said it.

I let people know I care about them, and appreciate them, but I don't use the term 'love' outside of a friendly context.

I think words have more or less lost their meaning. If you want to convey something to someone, I believe you should show them what you mean.

I have no qualms with telling people who are close to me that I love them platonically. Usually the people that tell me this are my immediate family and best friends.

I express my love by yelling "EW! COOTIES!" and pushing them in the mud.

I'm pretty open. I actually have had to tone it down, too. I used to say it to a lot of people but my girlfriend at the time got jealous and some people felt uneasy with it. So now I only say it to those I am very close to and am confident won't be weirded out.

I won't say often, but I say it if it's warrented. Even when I'm drunk the words don't escape my mouth regularly.

I usually feel awkward (especially after what happened to me. For more info, look at my thread in Eyes on Each Other.)

The only three people I care enough about are told on a regular basis.

I am sorta weird about saying "I love you" to friends. Those who I love, know it though. I say it once and a while.

say Ai shi teru instead... You'll get away scott free with out any embarrassment or mumblings of such words of endearment

If I said 「愛してる」 (aishiteru) or 「大好きだ」 (daisuki da) half my friends would not understand and know I would be speaking Japanese, the other half would understand what I said. :P

I've told several of my friends how much I love/appreciate them, and why. Telling people how important they are to you is.. well, important I think.

Just do hand signals to express your emotions then........ I'm Designer, not a Counselor!!

BUT I NEED HELP!

Actually, I just call my good friends an assortment of terms of endearment that are not totally appropriate for EoFF. I do tell them that I love them on occasion but not too often. THEY KNOW.

I don't explicitly say stuff very often, but the people I really care about are still quite aware of it.

I act subtly different on the internet.

Its best to never reveal true emotion.

You can't be an effective assassin otherwise.
