My Dad was just awarded The Unsung Hero Award by Farmers Insurance and the Seattle Mariners. So he gets to meet his heroes Dave Niehouse and Rick Riezz and sit in the KIRO7 view box for a Mariners game! He also gets a neat home plate plaque with his name on it. All because he's so awesome and selfless!

What's the best award you ever received?

When I was really young I entered the local parade as a princess and later my Dad brought me home a trophy (of a woman standing with flowers and a crown like a beauty queen) and told me I had won for most beautiful. I believed it for years and years and years until I later found out that he'd made it for me! That was the best.

The award that every Senior in band in high school aspires to get....at my school, anyway. Don't know about other American schools.

I don't do things that earn me awards so my best would be from here.

Best Newbie — Mid-Year 2007 Ciddies
Best Poster — Mid-Year 2007 Ciddies

That's right. Newbie AND poster. What up.

I entered a mandatory art competition throughout my country when I was in primary school (ages 8-12). I was 10, and won overall winner. The awards for me winning were 1000 pounds for my school, postcards of my drawing sent to every school in Ireland, and a nice big trophy. They spent the money on a garden and new surfacing for the main playing area. To accept my award, teachers, my family & I had to go to this big ceremony and I had to say a speech in front of a big crowd. Afterward, my photo was taken for the county newspaper. Although it seemed nerve-racking at the time, I was very happy indeed.

I was pissed that two of my friends got it (one was in my grade one wasn't) but not me. I got some :bou::bou::bou::bou:ty governor music medal instead. At least I could wear it at commencement!

I know lots of people weren't happy I got it...They wanted their friends to get it. I didn't expect to get it because I was pretty much the Queen of the Underdogs at my school, so when my teacher announced I was the winner I was like "WHAT?!"

It was pretty entertaining how angry some of the juniors got that I won instead of the other four more popular Seniors :roll2

I got best female chorus member one or two times, I forget. I can't think of much else.

As for online awards, I got Best Female once, which rocked my socks off. :jess:

The only awards I have are Ciddies. xD

I'm kinda proud of my award for receiving Highest Honors on the math section on my high school exit exam, but it's a conflicted feeling. I mean, it was so easy that knowing that people actually fail that thing every year just depresses me.

I also have a gold seal on my high school diploma for always scoring high on the stupid standardized tests.

I've never been chosen for an award (other than Ciddies) though.

My Ciddies, 'cause they're all I have:
* Best Signature - Mid-Year 2006 Ciddies
* Best Signature - End of Year 2005 Ciddies
* Best Female - End of Year 2004 Ciddies
* Evilest Member - End of Year 2004 Ciddies
* Best Custom Rank - End of Year 2004 Ciddies
* Best Female - June 2004 Ciddies
* Best Administrator - June 2004 Ciddies
* Best Female - Ciddies V (2003)
* Best Administrator - Ciddies V (2003)
* Sexiest Female - Ciddies V (2003)
* Horniest Member - Ciddies V (2003)
* MLT Be Pamela Anderson - Ciddies V (2003)
* Best Female - June 2003 Ciddies
* Best Administrator - June 2003 Ciddies
* MLT Become a Porn Star - June 2003 Ciddies
* MLT Get Together (with Loony BoB) - June 2003 Ciddies
* Best Female - Mid-Year 2002 Ciddies
* Best Recognized Member - Mid-Year 2002 Ciddies

Magna Cum Laude from my college was pretty cool, as well as the graduating honors from my two majoring departments. That's really the last notable award type thing I've received.

I've also won a few Ciddies.

I graduated with honors from my college but didn't get any fancy awards because the one class I took strictly for fun had a bigot for a teacher that failed literally half of the class. I know I earned an A in that class but that bitch wouldn't change it and it fucked up my whole fucking GPA and I am still fucking bitter about it so thanks for reminding me, Raistlin, you dick.

Probably one of the math awards I got back in highschool. Though I must say the "Good Effort" ribbon I won for coming last in a race back in elementary school was very nice.

Most Underated Member Ciddie is also good but I cant put that on my shelf.

When I was 6 years old I got a Highly Commended for my miniature garden during the school’s annual Agriculture Day. It’s not 1st, or 2nd, or 3rd, or even 4th, but it is one of the few awarded to people who don’t actually win anything else and have the judges feel sorry for them.

I won a drag beauty pageant and was titled Miss Northern Öland. I think I've mentioned this a few times before, but I'm very proud. Although the Best Member ciddie was sure appreciated! :heart:

I got the Best Geography Student award at school, but didn't bother to collect it on the prize-giving evening. I always thought it was cooler if you didn't get awards. I hold onto that theory religiously every time the Ciddies come round.

if my law school ever get's its lazy ass off the couch and announces graduation honors, that would be nice.

I won a scholarship to Space Camp when I was 12.

You know, it doesn't have much to do with trophies or titles, but I've never felt more honored than when a pretty girl has given me kisses.

I have quite a few random awards, sporting and academic, from various things over the years. The one I mention most often is my 3rd Place trophy at the Regional Chess Tournament. I beat a 7 out of 9 kids in this super smart Japanese family. Except the 8 year old girl actually beat me during the day, but she wasn't in the age bracket or something. :D

I received third place in a 50 meter dash in the second grade and got a yellow ribbon for my efforts.

I was destined to gallop the meadows from a very young age.
