I like my fish as sushi when possible-- tuna and eel in particular.

That one place we stopped at on the way back from Florida - the random Chinese buffet in the middle of Whereeverville, Deep South - renewed my interest in sushi. I don't remember what it was, exactly, but they had some that were lightly fried and had a slightly sweet flavor. I'm pretty interested in trying some more just to see if I can get something like that.

Otherwise, fish is kinda iffy for me. I like the texture a lot, but I just can't handle the effervescence of the fishiness. I've heard about fish that aren't that fishy tasting and I'd be pretty interested in trying that. But yeah, typically my fish experience is just the stick or Filet O' kind.

The only fish I've ever really enjoyed was spicy tuna roll.

That aside, I dislike the smell, taste, and most of all the texture of sea food.

Seafood reminds me of the chest cavity of an ebola victim.

I love sushi, but I also love fish in general.

Just seeing the title of this thread caused my mouth to water and my eyes to tear up with need.

Sushi is one of my most favorite things. Screw cooked fish, give it to me straight from the ocean!

I remember being quite fond of Terriyaki Chicken with blowtorched mayo.

Though I'm allergic to shrimps, crabs and lobsters...

I absolutely love sushi, salmon, tuna with wasabi and ginger are delicious...

I also love live octopus (though it a while to handle it it) and calamari....

I enjoy most fish. Although I don't like rice, I can handle a bit or two of sushi, then I can't eat any more. But, I'll eat breaded fish and all that, any time.

Is it true that Sushi Trains are frowned upon by upperclass Japan?

Could be. I wouldn't be surprised.

Sushi's the only way I eat seafood. One of the local restaurants here has their own roll where they take a BUNCH of stuff (I only remember eel and cream cheese, but there's like seven ingredients at least), cram it into a huge sushi roll, and get just a little tempura batter going on, topped with eel sauce... Soooo good!

Otherwise, I'll rarely get a bit of shrimp in some cream-sauce pasta at (insert random "Italian" restaurant name here) if I'm feeling the need to have seafood elsewhere.

Live octopus?

I've never been very big on sushi. It's something I can tolerate every once-in-a-while.

I lovelovelovelikecrazy salmon in any form, and for sushi my favourite is probably when you get salmon and avocado in a roll :D I mostly like the sushi from yo!sushi though, the main sushi lunch place near my work is not really so nice. :s

I don't care if you call me a weeaboo, sushi is glorious.

Jess and I went to a Sushi Go in Rhode Island and it was really good stuff. Though the mochi was even better. It was strawberry :3

My girlfriend's family frequently goes out for sushi at this one place. They know the owner very well and he gives them free things and makes the most deliciousest sushi in the entire world. I go with them sometimes and eat so much I have to poop a lot afterwards.

Oh man, the mochi was amazing. It was so yummy and sweet. The interior & exterior of the place are a cute Newport style. Stop there, if you're ever in Newport.

I prefer my fish in the sea and not as food.

I had fish & chips for the first time in ages the other day and I really enjoyed it.

I'm not a huge fan of seafood in general, but I quite enjoy cod and mackerel. Kippers are a nice, occasional treat and I utterly adore prawns.
