What would it look like if Cloud fought with both the Buster Sword and the Fusion Sword together at once? How would his fighting style change if he wielded two giant swords in battle instead of one?

Didn't Cloud fight with two swords at one point in FF:AC?Yep, at several points he uses separate parts of the big sword, detached from each other - during the Forgotten City fight, against Bahamut, Kadaj and Sephiroth. It's actually quite rarely that he ever uses the entire thing with all its component swords integrated.

The Buster Sword is (I'm assuming) made of a far heavier material than the Fusion Sword, meaning that he'll probably be incredibly unwieldy and would've been an easy target for Kadaj and gang.

That kind of fan service would have been very unnecessary.

Yes

Both the Buster Sword and the Fusion Sword are two-handed swords, so Cloud would hardly be able to swing either of them.

He's reguraly wielded the Buster Sword with one hand even twirled it around like it weighs nothing at all. But it would still look ridiculous.

I believe he also used a sniper rifle in Crisis Core. Perhaps Cloud could use the buster sword and the sniper rifle instead of the fusion sword?

No, Zack used a Sniper Rifle, not Cloud, and why would Cloud use a Sniper Rifle, a purely long-range weapon, with the Buster Sword, a purely short-range weapon?

In addition to the rifle, didn't he also have a tonfa-style baton when he was a Shinra army regular? I recall seeing some Crisis Core screenshots where he's got the same gear as a the regulars and MPs fought in the original game.

Perhaps he can use the Fusion Swords as his main weapon, along with the Buster Sword as a backup, similar to Angeal in Crisis Core.
