Hello guys! It's August now, and we're relaunching our newsletter with new features and, of course, new events!
We currently have a few competitions and events running right now! Get them while it's hot!
smittenkitten's Guess That FF Character (http://forums.eyesonff.com/general-final-fantasy/126083-guess-ff-character.html) is a fun and challenging competition. You'll be sure to want glasses when you play this competition! Be sure to sign up soon, it's already on Round 2!
Rye's Eye on Obscure Bands and Musical Artist (lalala OBAMA~) is currently going on in The Lounge. If you're the type who loves to try new bands, be sure to participate in this! Any obscure music of any genre is accepted, so if you have a band you like that you want to share, be sure to send a PM to me!

From the maker of the competition that increased the purchase of tissues and lotion by 30%, Hottest Video Game Babe Tournament, Agent Proto will be creating the Hottest Video Game Boys Tournament for the ladies and gay men out there who want some sexy male eye candy! Be sure to participate, as the Hottest Video Game Babe Tournament was a big success.
Also, the winner of the Hottest Video Game Babe Tournament was no other than FFIV's Rydia! Woo-hoo~ It's getting hot in here! Better keep going!
Are you someone who loves to participate but only has an day or afternoon free a week to really enjoy the forum? Here is something for you. Rye is starting up the Acrowar Competition this month. For a weekend, EoFF will be playing Acrowars. I'm not quite sure if there's a way for us to keep score, but it'll be in good spirit to play. Acrowars is a fun game that consists of making funny acronyms out of a set of letters. For example – IHYSD could be I HATE YOU SUPER DELETE. Very enjoyable! Pop in for a few hours and enjoy it.
Another event that will be running this month: Post Secret. Yes, Rye is bringing back Post Secret for a short time this summer! The details will be posted soon. I encourage any fans of the website to check this out! It's an easy and very fascinating event.
I have also heard whispers in the wind that Eyes on Plays and Eyes on You are coming back sometime in the near future. Keep your eyes out!
And now, here is an interview from Del Murder, the current runner of The Cid's Knight Competition!

1) What reality competitions are the biggest inspirations for this competition?
Survivor (it's where Solitary Island came from), America's Next Top Model (the name), Top Chef (quickfire challenges). Mainly Survivor, who I think is the king of reality game shows.
2) Do you feel the last competition was what you hoped to be?
Yes it was. I was afraid at first that the novelty wore off after the first competition and people wouldn't sign up. But we got a lot of participation from both the staff and the members and that made it great.
3) Do you feel this competition is better than the previous one? How do you feel about the competition this year?
It's hard to top the first competition since that was something that was never done before and nobody saw it coming. This year the competition was a lot tougher (as in cuts were harder to make) and we were a lot more organized, so those are definite improvements.
4) What was your favorite round in the history of both rounds?
Got to be round 2 of this year's competition. Picking new CK's is one of the most fun things about being staff and it was great to see you all talk smack about each other. Also it allowed us to get inside your heads and see how you would analyze different things. It was great entertainment and gave us some great insight, the two things we wanted!

Please help me! I think I am in love with another member of this forum. Every day I repeatedly search to see if they have made new posts, and I often print out my favourites and keep them in a scrap book. I also printed out a photo of them and I keep it under my pillow, kissing it every night before I go to bed.
The problem is, I don't think they would ever look twice at me if I made a move on them! I'm just a lowly regular joe who nobody cares about. But sometimes I just feel like I am going to explode, and buy a plane ticket to where they live and then stuff them into a crate and make them all mine!

Dear Lovestruck! Have you asked them if they will add you as a friend on Facebook? If you're going to pay them a surprise visit, Facebook is a great place to "get to know" someone. If they don't outright list where they live, look to their pictures for clues! If they don't want to add you on Facebook, try some other EoFFers who might already be their Facebook friend. By looking through their Friends list, you might at least find out the full name of your love interest, and let Google take you the rest of the way.

Dear Stuck! I can certainly feel your pain, I had the same problem a few years ago. It started out as casual flirting, like asking him to be my bodyguard (which he for some reason tried to do by throwing barrels around from a safe distance), but I soon noticed the strange glow in his eyes was becoming obsessive. What I did was simply to fake my own death! It allows you to start over in every way. I used a menacing guy with a sword for effect, but I think pretending to drown on a trip to the beach will work just as well for you!
