There are three possible answers to the following question:

Are you religious?

1. Yes, I attend church on a regular basis.
2. Yes, but I don't attend church on a regular basis.
3. I am a heretic.

For the sake of this question, "regular basis" will be defined as "at least three Sundays per month".

I assume you mean "don't attend" in the second part.

And I go to a message board called "God Hates Fraggles." I'm a fairly well-established heretic.

I like to consider myself partially religious. I've been raised Catholic, but I don't actively attend church weekly like I should. So I guess I should pick (2) as my answer. Yes, that seems most appropriate.

I do not have a religion.

The Space Pope

I do not need to attend church because I have a pretty tight relationship with the Space God.

It told me that it thinks any and all forms of organized religion are a sham and a cheap scare tactic to lure sheeple into obeying power hungry humans who use 'God' as both an answer and excuse.

I fully support the use of religious stories to teach morals (Jesus was a good person learn from him OH WAIT it doesn't really matter that his "life story" is fictional). As long as you take everything with a grain of salt.

The use of religious stories instead of science, on the other hand, is where the majority of the failure happens.

My situation happens to be quite complicated, my grandfather is a pastor, not just a pastor but a Southern Baptist pastor. Yeah, I'll let you soak that in for a moment..........Good? Ok I'll continue.
I was raised around the christian faith, but a few things have happened that called what I believed in (or was raised to believe in) into question. But im not getting into that bit. I attend my grandfathers church and I have to act like its what I believe in, in order to maintain peace in the household. So in essence, im agnostic yet deserve an emmy for acting like a christian around my family. Hell, I want a ciddie for this

I'm kinda weird. I was raised Catholic and got confirmed, but I wouldn't consider myself a Catholic, anymore. I always question religion and am greatly disturbed by how much it affects society. At the same time, I have friends that are strictly atheist and will demonize religion, but I still think it has its benefits. I also go to church on Sundays, so as to save my family the drama.

I'm not atheist, by the way. I suppose I'm agnostic, but when it all comes down to it, I still believe in God. I just disagree with many Catholic values.

Jeez, that must suck man. However, I would LOVE a family like that in a sick, twisted sort of way because I would find the aftermath of telling everyone my religious views extremely funny. I'm odd in that I like to offend people on trivial issues just to expose the stupidity of being offended in the first place. But, alas, I was met with little to no opposition when I told my parents. How dull :|

I dont go to church, my family thinks im catholic but im really a spiritualist on a quest of life leading to spiritual diliverance into the fifth deminsion were all the rightous souls will go one day and if youvs been bad then your bad karma cause the gods and goddeses to re animate your soul and you shall be reborn as an intirly new being.

Its impossable to prove any religion wrong so iv stopped choosing sides and reside somewhere in the middle of the pandamonium where there is peace and balance.

I haven't set foot in a church since my primary school used to force us into one every friday. And don't get me started on religion, I really don't see how anyone can still believe all that bullumaro when science has all but disproven it. Plus religion is the cause of all major wars nowadays.

I know a guy who stole from a church once. I don't condone stealing but if you have to steal from anywhere it may as well be from a church.
