Hi, welcome to the "International Suit-Up Day" event,
aka "Wear a suit to work/university Day.
On this day, suit up in honour of How I Met Your Mother, and Barney Stinson, and because suits are cool.
Things to do on International Suit-Up Day
* Wear a suit to university
* Wear a suit to work
* Wear a suit in hospital
* Wear a suit to school (daring)
* Buy a suit
* If you see someone without a suit, tell them to go home and suit up, or convince them to watch How I Met Your Mother.
* Drink in a suit - if you can find a bar called McLarens, drink there.
* Party in a suit.
*** Play LaserTag in a suit.... What up!
** You do not have to be a How I Met Your Mother Fan to wear a suit, because suits are cool anyway **
So basically on the 13th of August, Suit-Up, all snazzy like.
I figured I'd post on here, because most EoFFers are super awesome.
I don't have a suit! :(
I absolutely love the look of them on women though. When I get back from England, I'm buying myself one expensive really classy tailored suit, for interviews and good impressions.

I can't wear a suit that day so I'll just post a pic of me in a suit now.

I wish I was rich too! I just work a lot of hours of my life looking at numbers and orders on a computer all day until my eyes twitch. The suit would be an investment for a new job where I can do something more interesting, like maybe talking to people. :(

I dislike dressing up in monkey suits and only do it when required.

I'll dress up in a tuxedo on August 21st instead. Fashionably late and just plain fashionable.

I love suits. I love to wear them. I bought a suit jacket in 8th grade for Jr. FBLA and never wore it for years later. Kinda forgot I had it.
I also love ties. I'll try to remember for this, although the only thing I'll be doing is greeting stu and his parents :)

I has a very snazzy suit. It's nice, I really like it. But the 13th is a day I will be spending with a dog, and no way am I letting him anywhere near that!

Aren't suits a requirement for the job you're aiming to have in the future?

Yeah, but it'll be worth it then. It's not a very intense dislike; I simply dislike putting forth more effort than necessary. So comfortable shorts/pants and t-shirts is all I wear casually. Dressing up just to for some arbitrary holiday doesn't quite cut it. :p

I've yet to find a suit that I really love, in my size. My suit jacket cost $20 (cheap~ super on sale) and then another $40 to tailor (I figured it was so cheap it'd be worth it just to buy one that sorta fit and tailor it, since none of them really fit). It looks okay, but it's not my favorite ever. ^^
I'm a fan of the dress shirt + pencil skirt look, though.

I think it'd look silly to walk around on the docks wearing a suit with a reflex west over it and a helmet.

I'd wear one, except I got work that day and no amount of convincing or pleading is going to get my boss to let me wear a suit for work, the store is dirty so I won't even wear one to work and home from work because I know the trousers will end up fucked up.
