Do you iron your clothes? If so, how often?

I own an ironing board, but no iron.

I'm going to purchase one soon. xD My roommate had one but she left me and now I need my own. I'm sure I'll burn myself lots.

I burn myself all the time when I attempt to use the kitchen or my hair straightener. :3

No, but I've considered getting one for four months now. Odds are I'm going to consider getting it for a few more months before I actually go out and get one.

Yes, and you still need to get that burn of yours checked out. :mad2:

On a more serious note, I very rarely bother to iron. Too much effort. I usually don't bother to wear clothes that would need ironing, anyway. I imagine if I get a job next summer where I have to dress up every day I'll probably start ironing more often, though.

Nah I just stick mine in the oven for 20 seconds and it's all good.

hi Zach

We should create a forum swear filter that changes 'ouch!' to 'Zach'

I intentionally burned my thumb once. I also set myself on fire. There's two cigarette burns on my person and they were both self inflicted (my brother shared one with me). The game was fun. You light a cigarette and two people press their (body parts -- we used forearms) together. The first person to move and make the cigarette fall loses.

The cigarette burned out. We didn't flinch.

I once managed to microwave an empty mug while trying to make tea and the handle burnt my hand so hard that my monocle popped off

My friend's sister burnt her tongue on an iron once. That was the single most awesome thing I've ever heard.

I dislike ironing and do it only because I feel I must. I iron after every wash.

Irons are for suckers. You're all tools conforming to the government, man!

I rarely iron. Only two of my day-to-day shirts ever really need it, and I can't be bothered sometimes.

when i was 4 i was playing with lego bricks and my ma left the iron on in the adjacent room
i thought 'wow that's hot' so i put a lego brick up to the iron. the lego brick began to melt. i thought that was interesting so i touched the iron in order to check how hot it really was.

oh the scientific method

I've only been slightly charred by the steam from an iron.
As for ironing, I don't iron regularly. I only iron my outside clothes right before I wear them.
My home clothes are as wrinkly as your grandma. :bounce:
