So my husband originally wanted to order pizza so I could have a break from cooking dinner, but instead I made him one of the most complicated and best things I could think of with the ingredients I had in the house!
I made a Jack Daniels Marinade with A1 steak sauce, Garlic, Crushed Cilantro, Fresh ground Black Pepper, a pinch of flour, Tony Charerers...(sp) Creole seasoning and some salt.
I marinaded a couple of Filet Mignon's in that, then cooked them Medium Rare, and made a whiskey glaze with some cooking wine, garlic, and onions.
Then some loaded mashed potatoes~
Then some Potatoes Au Gratin~
Then some green beans with onion~
So here's what's for dinner!
Whiskey Glazed Filet Mignon (tender as hell. e e ) with Loaded Mashed potatoes, Potatoes Au Gratin, and Green beans cooked with finely chopped onion!
WHAT ARE YOU HAVING FOR DINNER?

On everyday except Sunday I'll have whatever I get my hands on.
On Sunday it depends, last Sunday I had Chicken with Stuffing and Fried Onions and a helping of gravy and vinegar.
Damnit, now I wish it was Sunday. :(

I had quite a fishy dinner tonight. I made a smoked salmon chowder to begin with which was just delightful and then we had sea bream as mains with some asparagus spears, mashed potato and grilled cherry tomatoes. I should have made a sauce to go with the sea bream but I didn't have time in the end :(

I don't know what we're having tonight, but yesterday we had chopped vegetables and chicken breast fried in a wok (my father's in love with his wok). He also put some garlic masala in it. yum!

Hee yep. I'm having tilapia and tomatoes with sweet red wine right now.
Then I will proceed to get intoxicated off the rest of this wine because last time all my wine went bad because it only lasts for like two days once opened :(
