*whisper whisper*

For a limited time, we're going to do EoFF Post Secret! Based on the famous website, Post Secret (http://postsecret.blogspot.com/), where people mail in any secret of theirs, whether it be dark, happy, serious, fun, etc. Check it out for some examples.

Now of course, this being a forum, we're not going to actually mail them in. I'm thinking like the first time I did it, you can either send it to me, or if you really want it to be anonymous, you can use a post secret email account I'll set up to mail it in. And unlike Post Secret, we have a few rules:

The rules:

1) No nudity
2) Nothing mean, rude, or revealing about other members. You can post a secret about a member (if you have a crush on them, perhaps!), but nothing mean. It's not in the jolly spirit.
3) No explicit language (sorry!)

Just have tact! And there is NO limit on how many you can send.

You can send in a text secret, but we'd prefer if you could make it into some sort of image. Really easily done on Paint. It'd just add a lot of depth to your secret!

(I'm not accepting them yet, just discuss this among yourselves and start your secrets while I set up everything and decide a time frame. What would you guys prefer? A fortnight to submit, or longer?)

Get talking. ;)

Edit by Shlup:

I think having the option of a 100% anon email will make people more likely to want to dish things. Not that you're not lovely Rye - but some people might like 100% anon better, especially if they don't know you very well.

I'm not too sure how I could make a secret of mine into an image.

Just typing it out in Paint would be fine. Or slap it on something you found on Google Images.

I don't have any secrets, but I do like reading them. :p

I love PostSecret so this sounds really interesting! I think two weeks is a solid amount of time for people to send in secrets and I agree that a totally anonymous e-mail would probably get more people to send in secrets.

I'm far too easy to figure out to do this.

Creating an anon email is just way too much work for me..I'd rather send you a pic using my real account of someone's secret :D

Omg, I don't like that either! It's such a weird thing to be annoyed with. xD

Anywayz, I agree with scrumple. I'd like it to be 100 percent anonymouse.

I'd have to agree.

Oh I meant to say this like forever ago but there are services like Send Anonymous Email (http://www.sendanonymousemail.net/) that you can use. Just give people an email address to send to and they can use SAE or whatever they want.

I'd like this thing to happen, btw.

I'm trying to test that on my own e-mail address, but nothing ever shows up in my Inbox :( Unless I'm doing it wrong.

Aww well. Don't forget to delete your emails from the "Sent" box when you're done so other people can't sneak peek!

Whoa, I finally got an explosion of them in my email. Thank god! I thought I failed an event. I was gonna go sob in my bath tub.

These are sooo good. A few of these are legit PS material. I hope I get a lot more! :jess:

I've gotten a few more today. I'll wait a few more days, see if Shlup's announcement helps, and then I'll post them! I want to have a decent sized batch considering this isn't a short event.

Wow. I thought I was the only one. Parents (both mine and Allie's) seem to be the worst about it.
