he was pretty awesome yes
though i dont get how he could kick seifers ass but odin couldnt
odin was the (slightly) more badass of the pair

You can fight him twice for a sidequest in FFXII and after I beat him the first time I went right after him to fight him the second time. I knew he was going to be stronger the second time but I didn't realize the extent of that, and what resulted was the hardest and most epic battle I faced in the entire game (I didn't do all the hunts, though).

LOVED the FFXII cameo. One of the best optional parts in a game defined by its optional parts. Challenging as hell the first time I played it, and even having better strategy and not being too challenged the second time, it only got better.

One of the best FF music themes and recurring characters, hands down.

I enjoy that he's so eager to show off his Buster Sword, which has a big "偽" (nise, or "FAKE") marked on its blade.

One of the best FF music themes and recurring characters, hands down.

I love the recurring themes, theres Cid, theres Biggs and Wedge (Acronymed in FFXII) and of course the summons and the weapons, chocobos.. and Gilgamesh. Makes the FF series feel almost family.

I'm glad that I played FFV before fighting Gilgamesh in FFXII. If I hadn't, fighting him in FFXII wouldn't have been the same, awesome experience! It's one of my favorite boss battles in all of Final Fantasy, because it's so epic!

I'll agree that the Gilgamesh Mark Hunt is easily one of the best side quests in FFXII and probably one of the many awesome experiences in the entire series. His Blue Magic just kicks your ass...

I like how he's kinda been implemented in the ports for the earlier games as well. VI Advance had an awesome intro for him and he's a pretty fun summon. He's just hilariously awesome. Course he will always be remembered for the awesome stuff he does in FFV :cool:
