So basically the planned film itself is named False Inertia... It shares many aspects with the Silent Hill games (Adventure, questions, abominations, symbolism etc). I'd like to know if the soundtrack (a variety of audio samples) is heading in the right direction (The quotes are snippets of my draft treatment to give you an idea when they play):

YouTube - False Inertia Soundtrack - Her (Long Version) (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f7_3mBItOBM) - This is basically my main character's theme (it represents her state of mind), it returns to play at a variety of points in the film.

YouTube - False Inertia Soundtrack - Follow Nothing (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=isFwe3DZLLo)

Katherine speaks to the occupant, who attempts to talk back - only weak and toneless sounds come out. Both are alerted by an approaching sound - the running of footsteps. The footsteps silence for a moment and a breaking bone sounds from the occupant - now laying dead - the footsteps pick up again - passing by. Following the sound of the footsteps - Katherine pursues in haste|

YouTube - The False Heart (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gQCcq8VzR3Y) - Not actually part of the soundtrack, but it's the sound the main character hears the horrors sing. Though it sounds angelic... I think the sound can come off as quite cruel and overwhelming.

I'll post more pieces later.

When I think of Silent Hill I think of Mellisa Williams because her singing on the soundtrack is amazing.

They're nice. It sort of reminds me of other music I listen to. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bqL716m26m0)

I prefer the first one. And I think the third one could be creepier, considering what it's being used for.
