Scream 4

Having been announced in January, many of you have probably already heard this, Wes Craven and Kevin Williamson are getting together to make yet another Scream movie. Well, they're making a new Scream trilogy actually. Scream 4, 5 and 6. Old news, I know, but what's new is that last week Neve Campbell agreed to come back to play the role as Sidney Prescott again, after having said no for 9 years. :p I wonder how much they're paying her!

Yay or nay?

Definitely a yay for me. I hope they don't kill off Gale, Dewey and Sidney in the first 10 minutes of the movie though. :p

Wow, I'm surprised I didn't hear about this one. Never the less, no thanks. I just don't trust Wes Craven after he killed Randy in Scream 2.

As long as Wes Craven is doing it I'll give it a shot. The original 3 were all really good horror movies despite the fact that that never happens for more than one or two movies in a series in that genre. Hopefully they don't screw it up though because the third one did wrap things up pretty nicely.

Randy was the only interesting character. Scream 3 was quite boring due to his absence.

They should revive him for S4 and give a stupid reason, like we give a damn.

Anyway if old horror movies with infinite sequels taught us anything, S4 will be about Salem Witchcraft and other voodoo.

Yes, it got wrapped up nicely indeed. I get the feeling they're aiming for a fresh start with Scream 4 to last them through Scream 6. I wonder if Patrick Dempsey will be back too. :p

Always found that guy kinda annoying, I'll manage without him :D They wanted to bring him back for Scream 3, but decided that it would be too far fetched to have him survive that knifing.
