Eh....I mostly listen to...Black metal. that's pretty much it. I'm not close minded in the sense that i don't know alot of music...I just tend to stick to..just that..personal reasons..yeah...

I listen to almost exclusively singer-songwriter music (i.e. John Denver, James Taylor, Joni Mitchell, etc.) and folk. My primary folk interests lie in mid-twentieth century folk revival (Woody Guthrie, Tom Paxton, Phil Ochs, Pete Seeger, etc.) and the traditional music of Scotland and Northeastern England. I have a growing interest in Boston-style contemporary folk (John Gorka, Ellis Paul, etc.).

These are so far the only types of music that I have found with which I actually feel an emotional and spiritual connection.

An eclectic fusion of jazz, underground hip-hop, classic hip-hop, classic rock, dance music (techno, electronica, mashups, whathaveyou, usually only in a party scene), and, to at least some extent, most types of music you could name excluding full-on country (folk is kewl) and intensely mainstream pop/"rap".

I don't follow genres. If It sounds good, its mine.

I tend to circulate around DJ/Composer Remixes and Industrial when it comes to music.

I embrace each and every genre, especially experimental.

Psychedelic rock all the way. Most of my music collection is from 1965 - 1972. Pretty much the 'hippie' music scene; Crosby Stills Nash and Young, Country Joe and the Fish, Jimi Hendrix Experience, etc etc. Plus the southern rock of the time, like Allman Brothers Band and Creedence Clearwater Revival.

Sixties music ahoy!

Mostly Trance & House dance (electronica), with other variations of House music. I listen to alot of old-school rap also. To be honest, I look at my music list and it has many genre's on it. I listen to anything that's good. There's good & bad in any type of music, I listen to the better.

My most listened to style of music is the music you hate. Just trust me on that.

I mostly go for old school hip hop, grime, dubstep, reggae/bashment and even some pop. In general though, I like everything.

Wikipedia classifies my favorite artists thusly: "alternative art pop/rock", "alternative indie dream pop/rock", "indie post-punk experimental art rock", "avant-garde electronica trip hop/intelligent dance music", "indie pop-folk", "jpop", and "hip hop."

That'd be Kate Bush, Blonde Redhead, Xiu Xiu, Bjork, the Weepies, Utada Hikaru, and Lupe Fiasco if you're interested.

So yes, I listen to everything.

Anymore I will listen to absolutely anything open-minded. I don't normally listen to country but I can deal with it. What I listen to always fluctuates as well. I'll listen to a certain genre for a few months or so and then usually move on to another. Lately I've been in a heavier kick, listening to a lot of All that Remains. The only music that I find somewhat unbearable, is most of the newer rap/hip-hop that gets played on the radio... pointless lyrics, no talent involved.

Whatever works. I prefer to avoid screaming and thrashing of drums to the point that it's just an ongoing noise, but most other genres have their upsides. I mostly prefer rock/pop etc, though.
