So I had a disagreement with a friend yesterday as we were at the movie theatre to watch Paranormal Activity. Although this has nothing to do with Paranormal Activity, but ANYWAY :</>D

Which is scarier? You wake up in the middle of the night and...
(a) Your walls are bleeding.
(b) There's an oompa loompa at the foot of your bed.

What would you do in either situation?

You ever see that commercial where they put night vision on a camera, sound an air horn, and some poor son of a bitch wakes up to see the Burger King about three feet away from his bed?

Either way I'd wonder who drugged me and probably start scrubbing the walls or trying to tackle the little guy.

Lay off the drugs.

And then probably try and hack something up with a machete.

Hahaha, the Burger King dude is hilariously creepy, yeah.

But personally, I think walls bleeding would be a lot scarier! I mean, oompa loompa, okay cool, maybe it just wants to talk to me about helping it achieve oompa loompa workers union rights or something at the chocolate factory. Maybe it's friendly! And if it starts baring sharp little teeth and lunging at me, I can get a knife and stab it, or hit it with a baseball bat, or bite its face off or something.

Walls bleeding? Holy crap man, WHAT DO I DO!?!? If I believed in supernatural crap, it could be like, an evil spirit messing with me and warning me before it KILLS ME and then a doe-eyed little girl with a creeparse grin and sharp little teeth will crawl out of my walls and kill me in nonsensical ways that are really scary. If not supernatural, holy crap someone murdered someone/thing and BURIED IT IN MY WALLS there's rotting corpses in my walls! ARRRG.

*dies*

OOmpas Loompas are pretty easy to fight off I guess. Kick one in the face. He'd probably go down the stairs!!! :D

Bleeding walls tho.....ugh. I'd be so scared I would not know what to do!

Bleeding walls fo sho. I'd go fetal.

I'd want some of the Oompa Loompa's sweet sweet candy.

In either situation I'd leave the house and go sleep somewhere else.

well honestly,
if the walls were just bleeding, but the room wasn't filling with blood,
and if the oompa loompa was just standing there....

I'd probably just roll over and go back to sleep.

I suppose the oompa loompa, but only for the reason that seeing walls bleeding is at least a little easier to explain - and can't directly do anything to you. It'd more depend on what's MAKING the walls bleed (and that could be a daydream/hallucination/whatever - more easily explained as "you're just imagining it" than an oompa loompa).

I can totally see you thinking seriously about this and arguing about it. You have the strangest little brain, twerp.

I'd be a little surprised if I woke up and my anal walls were bleeding.

I'd open a self sufficient blood bank.

what about blood on the walls, AND an oompa loompa (although he is dressed more in leather), a strange woman with a cat o’ nine tails, and a goat? :p>:p>

I think the Oompa Loompa would scare me more. The blood on the walls would be pretty terrifying, though.

oompa loompa; bleeding walls is a lot more understandable than a break and enterer

Oompa Lompa, those things scare the bejeegers out of me. Blood on walls would equally send me packing though :/

I actually had a dream that I woke up in my bed, but Silent Hill Style, a shadowy figure was standing next to my bed.
I did that thing where you kind of flail around in attempt to wake up... didn't work and the grosse disgusting walls were urging closer, or I was being pulled toward them.

*shudder* I was pulled off the bed by something and I shut my eyes for the rest of the dream.

Jojee
10-22-2009, 08:37 AM
Holy crap Markus, the shadowy figure was probably an oompa loompa!

Wesly, you'd think bleeding walls are a hallucination but oompa loompas standing at the foot of your bed aren't? xD I have a weird brain?

Anyway, I'm scared now. xD;

Orange midget with green hair? Call the cops on his butt for breaking and entering. Damned kids spend too much time in the tan salons and dying their hair these days, and the aging can be explained by how much they smoke. Just another product of the Jordan generation.

Bleeding walls? What do they bleed? Plaster? Walls can't bleed as they have no blood, so I'm unsure of how this could happen. If you mean on a paranormal level, then I would probably call the police around and point them to the, you know, bleeding walls and ask what we're supposed to do. While consoling Danielle who would probably be freaking out.

My point was, twerp, that it would be easier to imagine different color walls and see bleeding than to hallucinate an entire strange person in front of you.

My room is too dark to notice if the walls were bleeding. And honestly, the thing I'd be most scared of would be the Oompa Loompa bursting into song.

anyways, as long as you don't sleep with a light on, you'd probably never notice the blood until the light of day!

Very rarely, I have nosebleeds in my sleep and wake up part-way through. One time, I'd had a nosebleed combined with especially restless sleep; I'd been flailing around and wiping at my nose, thus getting blood on my face, the covers, and smeared on the wall by my bed. That was an interesting experience to wake up to.

Not quite the same as the walls actually bleeding, though. That would possibly be more disturbing than an oompa-loompa encounter, because it's less explicable, less natural and simply less human.

No, thankfully I don't live in the world of Japanese cartoon porn so I don't get nosebleeds from sexual arousal. Usually they're stress-induced. I can even stress in my sleep, in extreme cases.

You're alone and sleeping on your own bed at midnight. You're just relaxing, feeling comfortable and currently interacting with your nice dream.

All of a sudden, you've just woken up from something moving at the bottom of your bed.

A naked grandmother skeleton. A body full of visible fresh bones and her curly white hair, crawling onto your bed slowly. Her very visible skull approaching within the inches of your eyes, while you're unable to move at all.

... Now, that's just creepy.

Happened to me once or twice. But I got nosebleeds like crazy throughout my childhood (due to the fact I ran into a wall as a 9-yo), so it wasn't that big a deal.
