Am I seriously the only one who's getting that little bit shirty about how everywhere in the shops, Christmas seems to be taking over? *checks her calendar* yep, it's still October, and everyone's all going bloody crazy about it. Am I being a scrooge? Probably, but it's getting out of hand..and I am still young!

There were advent calanders at the beginning of October..soon it'll be July *facepalm*. So, who reckons people are going to be getting crazy over Christmas earlier and earlier?

Well, I bet they are those types that celebrate X'mas during Halloween and Halloween during X'mas.

I went to this mall somewhere around here that had Christmas stuff all the way out at the end of September. I guess hard economic times means that you should shop for Christmas early.

I haven't seen anything yet. Not even for Thanksgiving.

Pfft, you think that’s bad? Folk ’round these parts are getting ready for Run It Up the Flagpole and see if Anyone Salutes Day.

In the US, it's pretty bad, but in the UK it's much worse, since I guess they don't have to at least try to hold out for after Thanksgivings until Santa DOWN! your hole a Christmas.

For example, when I was out for Halloween last night, I saw Christmas trees next to pumpkins. xD

Hasn't it always been like that, though? They always start advertising for christmas stuff pretty early.

:kaoupset:I hate it. Every year stores and whatnot put out Christmas stuff when it isn't even Halloween! I can see if it's the end of November, but please focus on one holiday. It bothers me muchoooo :kaoupset:

Always get your Christmas shopping done before black Friday.

This is never a good thing for your gamer friends, though.

Well, I work in a grocery store, and fyi, we get halloween stuff in August, and Christmas stuff in October. We actually wait like a month with the stuff just sitting in the back before we actually put it out to sell. Trust me, our entire department gets mad when this stuff comes in, we have no extra storage to leave it sitting around, and we still haven't cleared out the previous(upcoming) holiday!

Screw that, I always get it done on black Friday. I'd go out anyway for stuff for myself, so I also get people stuff.

Complaining about christmas coming early seems to be happening earlier too!

In the stores the xmas stuff begins arriving in them for sale from August. I used to have to find space for the xmas stuff in Sainsbury's

On Halloween Wal-Mart already had Christmas stuff. I lol'd then I went outside and melted cause it was still hot.
It doesn't bother me at all. I've noticed that trend for a while.
