View Full Version : How do you like your chicken wings?

How do you like your chicken wings? Grilled, baked, braised, or other? Also, what particular flavor do you like on your wings?

I mainly like my wings grilled, with a mild honey-BBQ flavor, although I also like them baked or braised, with a brown sugar or citrus flavor. (No spicy food for me, thank you!) How about you?

I can't eat chicken wings because I can't eat any meat off the bone.

But if I'm lucky enough to get boneless buffalo wings, I prefer them spicy hot hot HOT.

Gnawing at scraps of meat left on the wings is a faulty objective; we should be busting out the chicken tenders which promptly skip bone and move onto delicious! And I like them in a spicy honey mustard because I like it sweet and I like it hot!

WHAT?! NO WAY!

You can't eat feathers!

And Delilah and Werewolf, if you like, you can just tear the meat off the wing bones. And perhaps some breast strips to accompany the wings too.

No, wrong. It is just not the same without tearing the meat off of the bone yourself.

Anyway, deep brief with a spicy BBQ sauce is the way to go. My college roommate made his own wings for our Super Bowl parties, and they were always great.

Quin, it was a rainy Wednesday lunchhour. I was cold, wet and needed to sit down before I died. The other options were all outside vendors, where I would be at the mercy of the wet brick and pigeons, because every seat with an awning is carefully guarded by the vendors who own them.

basically I wanted a place to sit down out of the rain, and I wanted to see what it would be like.

McDonalds Paris was much more similar to american food, although it seemed like they used some sort of spicy mixture between... I don't know, mayonnaise, hollandaise sauce, ranch? on their burgers instead of ketchup.

And you know, I've loathed mcdonalds chicken nuggets for years, but eating them in Paris was one of the most comforting moments on the entire trip. 'For half an hour, I can pretend I'm at home,' which is a pretty big deal in a city where people have to piss on the sidewalks because all the toilets cost money :p
