I do love FFX, but I don't like the idea of a third installment in the series.
In fact, the second one was kinda excrescent due to the story line. It doesn't refer to FFX's story line at all.
But I liked the battle system, it reminded me of FF5's job system :D

So no, please not. FFX's story was already settled in FFX. There was nothing left which wasn't covered up in the FFX, so FFX-2 was a (an entertaining though) waste and so would be FFX-3.

Or a prequel of Shuyin and Lenne saving Spira from disaster, the twist ending would have after they do it, the war that separated them happens eventually causing disaster to Spira anyway. I hate X-2, but a prequel like this might interesting imo.

oh and if anyone does decide to do something in rpg maker I am pretty good with a pencil and sketching is something I could easily do, not to mention animating sprites and the like...I miss the old editing programs though. I used use ACE for sprite design but I can't even find it anymore :(

One of the plot points of the game script I wrote for FFX-3 (LNA) was that an Al Bhed Maester tries to rebuild Zanarkand with a community of exiles. His two main servants are a Ronso warrior and a Guado technician.

Although I didn't like FFX-2 (from the moment I saw the cringe-worthy opening, to the lame and odd cutscenes) I wouldn't mind a FFX-3, if it was done well.

Spira is probably my favourate FF world, it's large, contains a lot of different and unique areas, and FFX was a good game, they gave a lot of good material in it.

But I'd like to see a sequal, I mean seeing Braskas Pilgrimage would be all well and good, but I already know that Sin dies in FFX so I think the story would be pretty boring when I know how it turns out.
I'm sure after throwing together the FFX-2 story, they could come up with something half decent for a X-3.
I'd like to see the gang get back together though, that'd be good...and I don't mean a half assed FFVII:AC reunion of the main characters, I mean a good one.

The Ending of Final Fantasy X-2 is a HAPPY HAPPY ending, excluding the bad ending which is definitely not the true story ending. So Final Fantasy X-2 does not need a sequel.

Yeah, I want to see them creating X-3 but I don't think other gamers would play it. X-2, is not so success compare to X. Because X-2 is compose of all girls group. Another thing, Final Fantasy X is all ready a past, so I'm not sure they'll be creating another one and they still have a lot of line up games to come up, like Agito XIII, FF XIV also Kingdom Hearts 3.
