I just found a letter dated april '97 from my father!

my cat has been funny lately, she started following me around the house!!. she is like a little dog.! she has started to sleep on the video player!!, very strange heh!!!!"

that's right, my dad was making poor quality posts and hehing a lot before some of you noobs were even walking!!

~

My Dad was away with army a lot when I was a kid, and my parents were divorced, so he'd send me letters. I've kept most of them and sometimes I like to take a look through them. We don't get along great now, so it's nice to look through the memories.

Do you have any letters/souvenirs/keepsakes from childhood? This thread is about mammaries memories. Please share :)

Memories, hmm.

Yeah, I try to keep things that made me happy; or at least remind me of a happy thing. Lots of weird crap.

I have a tumor I developed when I was a toddler. Ah, candy-coated memories.

I have a box that my dad made shortly after I was born. Inside it are things that are special to me; letters from old flames and friends, significant movie ticket stubs, etc.

Just the other day I went through some stuff, and found a bunch of old notes and all sorts of strange doodles from way back when. A blast from the past moment was had.

You are now aware that 1997 was 12 years ago, and it is highly likely that there are members on this forum to which this applies. Feel old.

If you weren't alive and walking during the Carter Administration, i DO NOT want to know you.

Haha That's hilarious!

I wasn't walking in '97 but that's only because a bat to the head leaves one feeling less than able. Don't be alarmed though, I deserved it.

I usually keep cards and notes for a good long while. I kept my visitor badge when I went to Nintendo America 'cause that was just too cool to throw away.

If anyone from this site has ever sent me a letter or Christmas card, it's in the box! It's getting a bit full now, though.
