XIII's world has always come across as some weird combination of FFX's Spira, XII's Ivalice, and the Xenosaga series. I'm not really impressed with the super futuristic meets prehistoric design of the world but its beautiful no less. At least they are starting to show a few locations that feel like a middle ground instead of the stark contrast.
