Forgive me if there was already a thread on this, I'm just too damn lazy to look past the first page. xD

Anywaaay.... Have any of you seen it? What were your opinions? Personally, I love it, but that's just me. xD A lot of my friends at school like it too.
So, your thoughts?

Little Kuriboh's version of Seto Kaiba is one of my most favorite anime characters ever. :)

Good God, I'd forgotten quite how fantastic TAS was until I just looked it up again. Now I'm hooked!

DAMNIT.

DAMNIT.

Best. Destiny. Ever.

There are far worse fates out there than being hooked on such an excellent spoof, Quin. :)

I also feel that thi show is the only thing keeping interest in Yu-Gi-Oh! alive. The movies and tv shows died a while ago (after some insanely bad writing in the spin-offs), but people find The Abridged Series, and, from there, they find the rest of the universe, and some of them stick with the card game after that. You have to wonder why the official YGO people want him gone so much when he's the only one keeping interest in the universe going.

Little Kuriboh also introduced me to Team 4 Star and DBZ Abridged (which was actually my first introduction to the DragonBall universe period), so I owe him that as well, because that spoof is also awesome.

I don't like it. The author seems to be an obsessive Yu-Gi-Oh! fanboy who is too old to be watching it so he makes the Abridged series as an excuse for his actual obsessive love with the show.

Your opinion is all gravy to me, Moon Rabbits, but I don't understand your reason. It just seems like an invalid reason to dislike something. I take the piss out of stuff that I enjoy in a humourous way - what is the difference?

Also, the idea of "too old for cartoons" is as ridiculous as "too old for sweets". Adults should always have some method to be childish, because childishness is awesome.

First, drop the idea that someone even can be "too old to watch it". If you watch it, and enjoy it, then it's fine for you (this goes for any show. There's a reason why ratings list minimum age requirements, not maximum ones). So he's not in the targeted age demographic, so what? The show had some definite good parts, and it can be fun for anyone to watch at any age. It also had some huge flaws, which LK does an excellent job of pointing out and mocking. But the show is not simply about making fun of the show or giving him an "excuse" for his love of YGO. The humor hits on a number of different levels, and the show chronicles the good aspects of YGO as well as the bad.

This is easily my favorite episode (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uYpTi6y41PU)

I love the abridged series and it makes all those times I actually sat down and watched the god awful 4KIDS version almost worth it. ;)

Oh I wasn't listing the reasons I dislike it. I just dislike it because it's not my kind of humor at all :/ The too old comment wasn't related to that at all.

I rescind my "too old" comment, though. I agree, blah blah, no such thing as being too old for cartoons yadda yadda. Haaaaay I love Sailor Moon, w/e. Still, from the first few episodes I watched, I got the impression that the creator is a rabid fanboy embarrassed about his rabid fanboy-ness - I got the impression he feels to old to be watching it.

EITHER WAY, this show does not make me laff~~~
