Mafia Official Games and Hosts: the Resurrection

Mafia went into a 3/4 of a year coma. However Demon Dude demonstrated that we still have quite a few people still interested in EoFF's dear game (and now we a have a wonderful Wonder Square to put the games in). Post here if you wish to host a future game... but first, I'm gonna lay down a few bullets.


Shouldn't have to say this, but just in case: only post about hosting if your serious about hosting.
There's going to be a break in between games, there definitely is not enough players for once a month.
Mini-Mafia's do not need to be okay'd here. This is only for official games that uses Second Accounts.
I'm only going to have a list of ~4 hosts at a time. Games take a longer than a week and there's going to be a break in between. It's very possible you could be serious about hosting, but 6 games later you aren't a frequent forum goer any more to host your game :(
One game per host.
It's highly recommended that if you want to host, you find a partner to host with.

Yeah, emphasis on a lot. You will have some people who will whine in the end, and some who will ask you every question possible every 5 seconds. Then some who will want to bash the mafias heads in for holding up the nights.

Yeah, my messup that game was losing Jojee's signup somehow and we added her in late but ed told her he was mafia and panicked and tried to ruin the game so we had to reset the entire game and kicked ed out of playing. Then Jojee became Russia the Prostitute xD That was a fun game, we game the mafia a spam forum as a reward for not being the last ones to give a night action once and they were a lot of fun.

During the Pokemon game I was like "thundershock? That's a terrible password." and changed it. I had to provide an email address so I put my own down. Of course everyone else's passwords were just as easy and Pyromaniak hacked into a bunch so the game ended early.

Then staff mafia comes up and I get an email for the Hsu account about his role PM. I was like, OH NO and deleted it without reading it like a good girl. I told Miriel and she changed it. It's a good thing I didn't read it because I was the cop and Hsu was mafia. Of course I didn't investigate him until the night I died.

Haha that reminds me of something that happened the other day. I was going through my old gmail email accounts the other day, and saw a message from EoFF sent months ago about a mafia PM and the person who got the PM was mafia. I realised I'd used that address to sign up for EoFF with one of the mafia accounts, so it's a good job it's an email address I never used! I changed it to some nonsensical one @eyesonff.com that doesn't exist.

Also just so people know, I intend to host a bitchin' mini-mafia at the end of jan/start of Feb. Haven't posted about it in this thread so here it is.

After that wait a few months and whomever is ready to host at the time can take the lead, and if both pasties are ready then a thunderdome to decide who hosts :p

Maybe we could add a list of hosts for smaller games as well? That would sustain interest, bring new players in and let mods try setups that are a little more experimental, or roles which create a different type of game atmosphere. (dethy, C9)

Just a thought. I would love to host another small game but I did the last one so someone else should have a go really. Anybody agree with my idea though?

1 of my set up, 1 of yours sounds awesome! I assume you mean finding the avatars, maybe resizing? I could give it a go! I'm planning a theme where the avatars should be easy to find. Least trouble the better I say!
