Final Fantasy XII no level up playthrough

Is it possible to playthrough FFXII without leveling up? I know people have done this on most of the other Final Fantasy since VI. The bosses don't give you any EXP. If I remember correctly, in FFX it is possible to do a solo Tidus playthrough after a certain point in the game. Is it something like that?

yes its possible and guns are your friend. Its called a 122333 challenge. There is an Accessory called Firefly? you can buy them at phon coast. They promise no (or little) exp gained.

It involves a lot of running until you get the firefly. Then you use that to be able to farm items and get equipment to beat the later bosses and still run from most enemies because they will kill you if they touch you.

Also taking a shortcut through the feywood to avoid the the elder wrym fight in the Golmore Jungle.
