Does anyone have any fun Christmas vacation plans? When are you going home, if you are going home? Share share! :)

I haven't worked since June, BJ since before that... all we do is vacation. And our family all lives around here sooo... yeah. No particular plans.

Do you get to wear t-shirts outside for Christmas?

I'm just going to be at my mom's for Christmas, but for New Years my dad is getting married in Bermuda, so I'll be spending most of a week there.

I should remember to tell Bleys that. He hates people who live warmer than him (read: everyone).

We natives think that 60F is coat weather.

Wow, so do I, though I'd probably lean towards thin jacket. Except that I can't tolerate any weather higher than 75! I have no place that I belong!

Thin jacket? Nooo, I wear a big freaking coat.

I'm in Manchester this Christmas. Won't be going home as I have to work Christmas Eve and can't get a bus or train down to Somerset. So, yey! Christmas alone!

Haha, my friends are devastated about it, but I don't really see the big deal.

I am being forced to leave the comfort of my own home to head to Nebraska to spend time with my girlfriend's family again. I can't afford to fly out to California to spend time with my own family so I guess this works as a second option except that I hate her family.

Don't give him any ideas....He's more than capable....

Might as well give them a gift wrapped home made shrapnel explosive.....

I live at home, so yeah - I'll be here!

I have Christmas day, Boxing Day, New Years Eve and New Years Day off. I'm pretty much working the rest. I might go to Newcastle to visit the rest of my family for New Years, though! :jess:

Eating Christmas dinner at my grandparents' house and if we get a 360 for Christmas like my parents are suggesting (if they have the money), I will probably spend the day practicing my Halo skills so I can attempt to play with the more skilled EoFFers :D

I've never been to a mountain before, except maybe when I was like 1, but I have a determination to go sometime during winter, because they look really pretty this time of year.

I'll be visiting my parents over the Christmas holidays. I'll probably spend most of it using the new camera I will be getting. And then back to university for the new year's ball (tailcoat and dancing, not the round object)... man, I love this. :)

I'm not really doing anything this Christmas, my parents have fell out with a lot of my family so it's going to be quite quiet! but the family I will see will slaughter me for having my nose pierced as they're extremely old fashioned and think piercings are what "common" people have, so I'm not looking forward to that. I'm going to be working most of christmas break too, and revising for my exams in January.

I really want to go around Wigan on boxing night in fancy dress, but they're too strict on ID around Christmas time. :( I'm out this weekend and mad Friday though, so I can't complain!

Then I'm driving back home and then probably to Chicago for new years.

Hee hee hee. xD Maybe they'll come with us, it'd be nice. Holiday in the mountains! Lots of snow. :greenie:

I think I forgot to mention actually going home for the holidays, when I made this thread. I'm going tomorrowwwwww. My Mom called me up today all happy, saying that she's bought me pumpkin muffins, and has made chocolate chip and sugar cookies for Hux and I. I'm going to stuff myself!

Catskills are much closer but they are not nearly as pretty. From Long Island to the Adirondacks is about good 4-6 hour drive depending on how fast you go, traffic and where in the Adirondacks you actually go to. :p

I drive super fast! Except when it snows and is icy, like it will be then. I guess it'll take forever. xD

I was looking into the Lake George area.
