What's everyone super psyched about?

For me, few things have my attention more than No More Heroes 2. It looks like it's really making up for the shortcomings of the first while expanding on all of the crazy :bou::bou::bou::bou: that was amazing before. I just can't wait to find out who all of the new assassins are.

Plus, Travis is like one of the best heroes of all time. He's just awesome.

NMH2 is on the Wii, the 'HD Upgrade' is the first game. And so far it's looking like that game isn't coming out in the US--Ubisoft, who published NMH1 & 2, said 'no thank you' to the PS360 remake.

I can't really get into Suda51's games, personally.

There's tons of stuff I'm really looking forward to in 2010. Don't have much time to think about them all, but off the top of my head:

I'm pretty sure that the only reason not to get excited about The Last Guardian for 2010 is if you don't think it will make it out in 2010. As far as I'm concerned, there is no safer bet for an incredible and innovative gameplay experience than a Fumitu Ueda game.

Also, I forgot about Valkyria Chronicles 2, but I'll add it to my list. The only thing I find marginally disappointing about it is that it won't be on the PS3. I blame all of the stupid people who didn't buy the first one for that though, and am just glad it's continuing at all with how poor the sales were.

Well that sucks. I guess it would be better to actually go through the the first one and give it a real go, it just seemed enormously repetitive to me and the battle system came off as a joke almost. But we'll see, I'll probably at least rent it.

It was hardly the most anticipated game on the list though. I can't believe I'm the only one looking forward to Golden Sun DS. Though I can believe that I'm the only one looking forward to C&C4. While 3 was a nice game, the expansion was fairly terrible. If Joe Kucan wasn't so dang awesome, I wouldn't be getting it either.

I didn't know a third game was being made. I've actually only played the second, and I haven't finished it yet because my purchasing of EO2 coincided directly with my fatigue for handheld gaming (the DS is currently the only "next-gen" hardware I own, and I'd been playing the little thing almost exclusively from around February to October.)

As for 2010, even though I'm still debating whether or not to crack and pick up a PS3 slim, I'm really looking forward to Super Street Fighter IV, Final Fantasy XIII, Infinite Space, and, well, the possibility of more great indie games appearing on the PSN.

Also, The Last Guardian. I have no idea what the thing's about or what kind of game it'll be (probably some variation on the "adventure" genre), but I adore Team Ico and their work since everything they do is utterly fascinating to me.

That was fun times. I kept losing my PSN connection while it was updating too. If it weren't for the fact that it picked up right where it left off after reconnecting I would have said screw it.

Interesting to look back at my last, shame I haven't gotten Yakuza 3, White Knight Chronicles, SOCOM FTB3 or even to play FFXIII myself but the games I have gotten have really met my expectations and surpassed them in some cases. There's still a lot to go and the problem of not having a lot of spare cash is going to limit that as it already has, not to mention not having the time to play them. I've also been playing games from last year like Modern Warfare 2 and Assassin's Creed 2, not to mention FFVII, VIII, and Tactics on PSP and starting a new game of Dragon Quest V using a literal japanese translation.

BUT

The next Metal Gear Solid is only about 3 weeks away, it just hit me today and I'm unbelievably excited for it, not to mention it's my birthday so that's just amazing in so many ways (especially not having to pay for it!)
